'Polukus' is predominantly used in my R2 copy for N64, but in at least one instance his name was spelled 'Polokus'. I'm don't know about the spelling in other story mode varieties, so is it Polokus or Polukus?

imo, Polokus just sounds better :)

I think it is pronounced the same in both 2 and revolution.

Well I never noticed Polukus either. Polokus is better anyhow.

Just because one sounds better doesn't mean it's necessarily canon :/ But Polokus does sound better, it has the more wizard-y ring to it.

I suppose it was just a spelling mistake.

Yeah. That does happen in games sometimes.

It is really funny when you find typo's in games and other major productions.

There are many typo's in Morrowind.

You would hope that they would have somebody check for those.

It depends how good the testers are that they hire.

Heh, like on the box of Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge. Proper English says it is Hoodlums' instead of Hoodlum's as they spell it. Typography is everywhere, including Windows XP help files. (Because it is Windows--I've never seen a typo in any Apple-produced document for the Mac OS X 10.3 system.)

Polokus seems canonical. The team working on the N64 port probably mistook Polokus as Polukus, since every other version says Polokus.

That happened with Rayman Hoodlums Revenge.

  • Rayman should be capitalised - that's an obvious...
  • Hoodlum's? There is more than one Hoodlum so it should be Hoodlums'.
