I had an idea. Could we be able to make a "multi quote" b button for topics?. It would mean you can click on several posts you wish to quote and when you go into posting form you will be able to reply to several posts at once. What do you think?

I think that that would be way to difficult to do, if you think about it enough, you would realize that your quotes would have to be able to move from to present page to the previous page to get another quote and the go forward again to post, and you would still expect your computer to remember what you quoted before.

It's actually quite simple. Check the forums at http://www.gametrailers.com and you will see what I mean.

I don't think something like a 'multi quote' will work good on a system like phpBB.

The other forums that are using it use PhpBB too.

Well, the link you posted to that GameTrailers forum took me to a VBulletin forum. But even if it's an easy job to make that for PC, doesn't mean it comes in handy.

It's an idea, but it would be really difficult to MOD into PC, especially since it's a phpBB. We don't need to multi-quote most of the time anyway.

And on the other hand, copying and pasting isn`t much of a job too.

Yeah, that's how I do it and it works out fine..

But it can be a nuisance if you want to quote 4 different posts.

This may be interesting, I will think about that once we are running on phpBB3.
