You all may remember Rayman The Fan Series always being on Free Webs, right? Well, didn't you hate how slow Free Webs was and how long it took for anything to load, recently? Also when RTFS had like three Free Webs accounts just because of their aweful 50 file limit they had and all that? Well, NO MORE of that! Rayman The Fan Series has moved onto a new series of tests. Remember when I mentioned about RTFS and BR? Well, they were at first standard HTML sites at first when I was building them, then they moved on to a PHP based system to allow it to use templates. Then more recently, I've intergrated RTFS into a PHPBB2 system, with a lot of work, yes, but it actually worked out great. Then me and Romano got to talking and all, and asked Hunchman a few questions about some mods... So I changed things to use a PHPBB3 system, (Note: It all was just a test non public tests..) then I had to find a way to make new pages which worked with PHPBB3. Well, so I worked with things for a while, then I found a way. So I worked with that, but then, I improved it more later on, and was able to get where the portal and other pages will be in the language, of what the user's language setting is set to. So, this means RTFS will be in French too. Though the key problem into the French section, is we will need some French translators for the videos. How are the French going to enjoy RTFS also? So, any one who can help real well will be part of the RTFS team. Not only translate the videos, but the new RTFS game.

Anyways, Rayman The Fan Series will open to the public in a few days.

Some of its features will be listed:

1.) Running off of PHPBB3.
2.) Point System - You can Earn Lums. Isn't this exciting!
3.) Rank system with a choice of Good guys and Bad guys, except in RTFS style.
4.) Rank System will run off the amound of Lums you earn.

5.) When me and Romano get through with this, ALL Users who are a member of Rayman Pirate-Community will ALREADY be registered members there, thanks to Romano, who will just copy the user database on PC and basicly import the copy into RTFS' database. No post count nor ting/lum (point) count will be included, just set to zero. Isn't this exciting?
6.) Me and Romano have talked, and there may be a way for you guys to send off lums and turn them into tings on PC. Or the other way around.
7.) Romano may make a way, for those who recently register now or in the future, to have the option (when they register on PC) they can choose to autiomatically register onto RTFS at the same time or with a click of a link in their profile. Same thing from RTFS to PC.

RTFS will have a direct link to PC.

If you are wondering, why? Well, wait untill RTFS is up. There will be a RTFS Idea center, for you guys to submit ideas to RTFS team on what they could do, make, or create. All new videos and games will be released there, and all information on RTFS will be shown there and all announcements and updates on RTFS and what is new will be there.

We will have a Groups and Role Play section, so you guys can have your own groups and Role Plays. Though there are some simple easy rules to follow on having groups and role plays.

And maybe a simple chat area. We will direct all Rayman discusions to here at PC as well as most off topic related. We helping PC and they are helping us. A lot of credit goes to PC. You all will find out what all the credit is on later. For now...

So if we get all the post counts that we got here, does that mean we get all the lums and stuff that you would get from that many posts?

I don't know if a connection with PC is the right thing, it's a forum with a totally different use. I personally preferred the1's RTFS on InvisionFree, I think it's still there at the https://web.archive.org/web/20120603093 ... /index.php under the name of Beyond Rayman, too bad it's gone. But anyway, I hope the style will be just a great as the1's.

Only connection with PC is where you can have an account on both easily.

Do our posting there contribute to post count here too?

No. Though the Lum count may. As we may have where you can trade them for tings and they be sent to here to your account.

Right now I am working on the ranks to be put onto RTFS when it is ready for them.

I need some images of Hoodlums. Ones of them by them selves with (preferibly) black background. If not that, then I can settle for white or something and edit it.

Is Abhinav still involved in the fan series anyway? I remember that he was the original owner of the FreeWebs sites. But it all looks great so far, remember to 'Raymanize' the purple style some more, visitors must be able to see it's a Rayman fansite not just by the text!

Abhinav still is part of it, yes.

I've never seen him online for a long time. But anyway, where is the final version of the site going to be hosted?

Are you gonna put all of the fan art and fan works of HC and PC on your site too?
