Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
It looks too similar to the solaris style, I think PC needs a change.

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
Droolie's work is awesome, but there are things I would like to change. For instance, almost all buttons that are in the prosilver theme have disappeared in the new theme (e.g., the FAQ and Login pictures), and I still think the ship on the logo is too blurry. I wonder what it would look like with the other logo (ship and mountains in the background).
PS: We must also change the 'Online' button, it's better in prosilver!

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I thought that the mountains logo would have looked better on the more starcrafty starcraft style.

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I think the modified theme is better, and the original Starcraft template isn't that great.

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I don't like the StarCraft buttons either...Hunchman801 wrote:Droolie's work is awesome, but there are things I would like to change. So I actually planned to do all that, but I still have to make the images
And I'll change the ship so it isn't so blurry anymore. ^^
EDIT -> Ship is still blurry, but not so blurry as before.
EDIT 2 -> Online and offline buttons look better now, don't they?

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
Well they look better now, but I still prefer the banner that only appears when the user is online, like we have in prosilver. About the other butons, I think it should be possible to adapt the prosilver ones to our new theme. And I noticed something: when there are several pages, the list of pages doesn't look as good as it does in prosilver
We'll have to work hard xD

How did you get your Phpbb3 forum? I want to know so I can show my ideas on PC's style.Drolpiraat wrote:I don't like the StarCraft buttons either...Hunchman801 wrote:Droolie's work is awesome, but there are things I would like to change. Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I think the "Who's Online" line should be moved up to the top of the topic.
Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I don't think it should be there at all. It should just be on the main page of the board.
Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
WOW, I've seen Droolie's style since today and please oh please don't change too much. I really really like that one. It has the solaris styled colors we are familiar with and a way more Raymanish look! May bring the fists back and upload this theme at all costs!!!

I think that the bar under the logo needs to go.

What exactly is the point in doing that?Kelvin12 wrote:I think the "Who's Online" line should be moved up to the top of the topic.

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
I think the current logo is pretty much alright, it could use a little more background detail instead of plain black, and yes, the ship has to be less blurry, but other than that it's sure better than the last orange logo. And yes, the buttons have to be replaced, but I still suggest to use the fists again.Hunchman801 wrote:We will only change the buttons and perhaps the logo

I'll try the fist images
Anyway, can anybody register on the forum to test the Edit, quote, etc. buttons?

Re: Pirate-Community Style Suggestions
No, I was talking about the ship actually. But it doesn't matter, let's do the buttons.
