Yesterday, I had the idea of editing the StarCraft theme a little myself. To test the style, I had to upload a completely new phpBB3 forum. Of course, it took some time to find a fine free host that supported phpBB3, upload & install the forum + the StarCraft theme. So there aren't any changes to the StarCraft theme now. I started editing today, but, I can't test the edits yet, because the site's FTP seems to be down ( I have a timeout while waiting for the FTP's welcome message )...

( don't worry about the banner & logo, it's the banner I made ( and soon Jman's logo, when the FTP starts working again ), I'll keep it this way until the final logo&banner are here )

Here, you can post some suggestions about how the theme should look ( background, buttons, etc. ? ).

I think the theme looks altogether good

I think that register and login words should be smaller, and should be on the right.

Yep, I thought so too. I already made it a little smaller. Should it be even more small? If so, how small?

Yeah, you did a good job fixing it. Maybe you should make the background image larger by giving it more stars.

You mean making the banner next to your logo larger so your logo has a starry background? Yeah, I suppose I could do that ^^

It would look better I think.

If there is a way that you could make the star-y background loopable would also be good, because the forum stretches.

Indeed. Anyway, now I've changed the background a little, it looks a lot more like the old PC ^^ The only problem is the border that surrounds the 'body' of the page. It just doesn't fit right. Is it too light? Well, I can't make it too dark either ( or just have no border ), because then the sun in the banner would be cut off

EDIT -> Border looks fine now. Jman, what did you say about the forum being stretched? I don't think that'd be because of the banner, because the banner is only set as background for your logo

Oww, I liked the old border a lot.

I did too, but sadly, with border-style set to groove or ridge the border's always too white

Yeah, but it needs to be there, because right below the logo is that bar thingy.
