Yes, but only if you're competent and you have your eyes outside your pockets. Man, some of my colleagues really don't do their work well sometimes...

Double Post YEAH .... well i will be writing a paper + journal but I don't care if someone copies it I don't usually do it only if I can't find a word document, so I will use this post, LOL. here goes, if you want to read them, go ahead.

Journal -

I went to make an appointment with Kim Foster, AS advisor. I told her I made two education plans and I would have brought them, but I could not. She kindly took out a paper to make an educational plan, so I did not need to make an appointment for later! She made things clearer to me then they were, and now I really know what so sign up for this spring! I will definetly come back to her if I ever am in doubt or in need of help.

Kim asked me if I can draw or if I was interested in drawing, and I said no to both. I would like to draw, yes, but I can't, I just don't have the skill. She told me that I would probaly not do well, for I would need to have three drawing classes for a graphics major. She showed me the computer programming and analysis, and it has some web design and web publishing in it, so I said "ok!". Now I probaly will have questions of what times is better to have them, but I will ask her later today, because she said she had nothing planned (as of yet) later in the afternoon. Then, near my third spring term, I will have an internship, so that will be cool.

I really like this, I am fine with this major. Graphics design, I will probaly not do again, but I am excited. I am also really excited that I know what classes to take and when, I don't feel lost at all now.

STILL TYPING

Nick Naler lobbies for ciggarettes. He does it bye using many methods, mostly indirect lobbying. He uses the media the most to convince many voters to vote a certain way. Of course, he uses information to persuade voters to believe him. He is always right, or he says something in the right way. For example, Nick uses the governor's state to put him in a bad position. Its the state of cheese, and cheese has cholestrol, etc. Well, I would lobby for things added to food that may give an allergic reaction to children who were not used to it. I would lobby for this because I like some foods that are man made, for example Cheerios. I would use indirect lobbying because I would not want have personal meetings, telephone conversations, or or write letters to whoever I would need to. What would I need to achieve my goals? I would need to be sure of what I am saying, I would to be very self-confident, and I would need to be very persuasive. I would want the people to be on my side, even if I were lying. Yes, I would use the media.

Carlos Matos
EAP 1640

I have skills, but only skills I would learn either at home or school. Some skills would be math, reading, and cleaning skills. Skills for my career I will aqcuire as I progress in college, over time.

The types of Interests I have are: conventional, 8; social, 3; enterprising, 3; realistic, 1; and investigative with 0. I got two careers that matched these results. They are Interviewers, and Audio and Video equipment technicians. Both seem nice, but I do not plan to head in either of those directions.

I would like for a job that would make use of abilities I have and will learn. I would want the supervisors to train their workers well so that they could want a job that I can accomplish.

I have two occupations in mind. They are computer programming and graphics design. I like computer programming more than graphics design.

I will work, and continue to go to school to learn skills I would need for computer programming. I will get a car and a liscense, and after around three years I will hope to have a job of what I am majoring in. That is mostly what I will do to get to the next step for my future.

=========================================

Three difficultise I have had to getting to college was Fcat, not graduating on time, and late registration.

One obstacle that has made it hard for me to graduate and be able to sign up for college, was Fcat.

DO NOT MIND THIS POST THIS IS FOR ME TO SAVE ON HAHA

I rarely go trick or treating, but I met someone who convinced me to go. His name is Harrison Ford, and he told me of a house that people say is spooky and all that jazz. He plans to go there to disprove these rumors. I agreed, I had nothing planned that day.My night trick-or-treating with Harrison Ford was a memorable night filled with danger, terror, and Micheal Jackson.

My last Halloween began as a dark and stormy night. The rain was light enough to go out at first, but then it started to rain heavily. Wind also came with the rain. The rain was then hitting me in the face, instead of coming down on my umbrella. My umbrella was working fine for a while. Then, strong gusts of wind turned the umbrella inside-out. Since my umbrella malfunctioned, I got wet.

The last house we came to looked a little spooky. The house was dark inside, but the door was open. Curious, we entered without thinking. I heard that curiousity killed the cat. We should have known better, but we went inside and found some jade statues and put them in our bags. As a result, traps were triggered when we removed the statues. A huge boulder chased us, but we managed to escape it unscathed.

We tried to escape, but a group of ogres were blocking our path. We tried to talk to them, but it didn't help. They don't speak english at all, so negotiating was out of the question. We used the jedi mind trick to see if that would help us. It didn't work, they caught on, unfortunatley. We tried hitting them with cigarettes, but that didn't work either. Harrison then whipped out his light saber. He sliced and diced the ogres until our path was clear.

We found a secret passage inside the bookcase. It was a staircase leading down to the basement. We went down the staircase, alert of anymore danger. We finally reached the basement, glad nothing popped up to suprise us. The basement, to our suprise, was filled with zombies. Harrison now took out his whip, because his lightsaber's batteries died. He tried whipping them, but that did not work, sadly.

As the zombies were closing in for their kill, Harrison desperatly played "Thriller" on his portable MP3 player. Michael Jackson appeared. He did the moon dance. The zombies were amazed by his awesome dance skills. The zombies danced with michael and left us alone. Me and harrison found a way out. We escaped through the basement window while the zombies danced away.

We escaped by climbing out the basement window, but the storm had grown worse. It rained frogs and fish. I threw my umbrella away, since it really had no use to me from the start. It stopped raining the second my umbrella touched the floor, and the wind died down. We made it home with all our candy. Our bags were so wet that the jade statues had fallen within the spooky house. The next day, the house was not there.

I am glad I met Harrison, I had fun. The house was scary, and the ogres were smart, and I thought they were just really dumb. I don't know why it stopped raining when my umbrella dropped to the floor, but I will stop questioning everything. My night trick-or-treating with Harrison Ford was a memorable night filled with danger, terror, and Micheal Jackson.

Final draft of an essay I made, if you want to read it, go ahead.

I rarely go trick or treating, but I met someone who convinced me to go. His name is Harrison Ford, and he told me of a house that people say is spooky and all that jazz. We met in a bar, while drinking milk shakes and ice cream. I just came from my English composition class, hoping to eat a delicious cheese cake sundae. He was there, and ordered the same thing. I said we had things in common, and he asked if I would like to join him. He had plans to go there to disprove certain rumours. I agreed, I had nothing planned that day, sadly. My night trick-or-treating with Harrison Ford was a memorable night filled with danger, terror, and Michael Jackson.

My last Halloween began as a dark and stormy night. The rain was light enough to go out at first, but then it started to rain heavily. A strong gust of wind also came with the rain, as if it was summoned by a wind god. The rain was then hitting me in the face, instead of coming down on my umbrella, ironically. I tried to turn it sideways to somehow get the best of the rain, but either way I still get wet. My umbrella was working fine for a while. Then, strong gusts of wind turned the umbrella inside-out. Since my umbrella malfunctioned, I got wet. The last house we came to looked a little spooky. The house was dark inside, but the door was open. We were Curious, so we entered without thinking. I heard that curiosity killed the cat. We should have known better, but we went inside and found some jade statues and put them in our bags. As a result, traps were triggered when we removed the statues. A huge boulder chased us, but we managed to escape it unscathed.

We tried to escape, but a group of ogres were blocking our path. We tried to talk to them, but that plan unfortunately backfired. They don't speak English at all, so negotiating was out of the question. We used the Jedi mind trick to see if that would help us. It didn't work, they caught on, unfortunately. We tried hitting them with cigarettes, but that didn't work either. Harrison then whipped out his light sabre. He sliced and diced the ogres until our path was clear as day. There was a pile of ogre ash towards the left of the room after the treasure room. We found a secret passage inside the bookcase. It was a staircase leading down to the basement. We went down the staircase, alert of anymore danger. We finally reached the basement, glad nothing popped up to surprise us. The basement, to our surprise, was filled with zombies. Harrison now took out his whip, because his lightsaber's batteries died. He tried whipping them, but that did not work, sadly.

As the zombies were closing in for their kill, Harrison desperately played "Thriller" on his portable MP3 player. The blood sucking zombies were actually Michael’s number #1 fans, of those who died in a car crash. Their soft spot was touched by his music. Michael Jackson appeared. He did the moon dance. The zombies were amazed by his awesome dance skills. The zombies danced with Michael and left us alone. Harrison and I found a way out. We escaped through the basement window while the zombies gleefully danced away. We escaped by climbing out the basement window, but the storm had grown worse. It rained frogs and fish. I threw my umbrella away, since it really had no use to me from the start. It stopped raining the second my umbrella touched the floor, and the wind died down. We made it home with all our candy. Our bags were so wet that the jade statues had fallen within the spooky house of terror. The next day, the house was not there.
