Hello!
Of course, everyone on this forum who wants more Rayman soundtracks would LOVE to help me to get the soundtracks done faster, as currently, I'm making ZERO progress. Why?
I'm not so motivated as before - and those stupid cracks of silence in the songs are shit ( really, you wouldn't want to do all that work ), but I'm still able to do it. If I only had a program to do all that silence-removing automatically. So why wouldn't I ask for your help?
What? How you can help me to get the Rayman soundtracks done a lot faster?
Yes, yes, you can do 2 things:
1) Me, the search masta ( quote from Beebop, I think ), has not ever found a program to reduce the amount of silence in a song to zero. Does such program exist? Maybe. Find one, and I will be forever grateful.
2) Programmers could program a program ( yay - 3x program! and now 4x! ) to delete all WAVE values 0 ( yes, this silence I speak of is not near-silence, it is COMPLETE silence, and by complete, I mean ABSOLUTE silence ) in a *.wav file. And if you would add a selection tool, this would really be a great help.
3) Any other ideas to get such a program? -_______-
Okay, if you would help me, you would get:
1) Your name on RayTunes in a BOLD AND LARGE FONT
2) ALL of my tings. ( it's not much, but it's everything I have to offer )
3) Finished Rayman soundtracks ( but not directly, of course - still, way faster! )
4) Luck in real life ( I hope )
It's not much, but I don't have any inspiration for other prizes.

Big Bump. I have moved this to the Members' Forum, as nobody seems to check the RayTunes forum EVER.

You should look at logic, or sountrack, or garageband. You can even edit them in movie programs and cut what you do not want and then save as an audio file.
You could probably get them off bit torrent, but I would hope that you would buy the program.
You can also download the demos/ trail versions of them.

Can they reduce ALL the silence ( so up to 0,00001s ) in a song to 0?
And I use WINDOWS.

Yes, Soundtrack Pro and Logic can both do that.

But sadly enough, I've checked and none of these work for PC.
... wait! I have an idea! Do you have these programs?

Whoops, seems I had forgotten about this topic for a while...

Anyways, it doesn't matter. I doubt those could do it completely anyways... and I can't do it myself if they can do it.
... any other programs?

You could use audacity
It's free, and you can zoom in enough to mess with the actual sound!
EDIT: here's a pic

Yeah, Audacity is great for a lot of things. Friend of mine composes entire synth tracks in it. Plus, free MP3 encoding = win.
The noise removal tool is a tad bit iffy, though, so perhaps a different program would be more suited to your needs.

The problem is that I need a program to do all that
AUTOMATICALLY, so NOT by zooming in and cutting the sound out, because I'm doing that all the time and it really gets on my nerves after a while...

I have found something called WavTrim 2.0, it is freeware, and looking like (

) Windows executable.
Can you check it? I should not download files.

I know! But it is theory... And it works only if silence is on start and on end.
You need:
1. Nero Burning Rom (I use 7)(there is trial)
2. Image mounting program (e.g. DAEMON Tools, free for non-commercial use)
3. Lots of place on HDD
4. Windows Sound Registrator (I don't know what's English name; it is in Start>Programs>Accesories>Entertainment-or-something-like-that>
5. Music in WAV (no more than 60 minutes with silence at one cycle)
6. CD-Audio dumping program (e.g. Nero, but I use 7)
How-to:
1. Burn all tracks like in CD-Audio, but as a cue/bin image. Remember to put function 'erase silence on end' or something like that on.
2. Mount image in DT.
3. Dump tracks.
4. Use WSR to reverse dumped tracks.
5. Unmount image and delete it.
6. Repeat those steps second time. (This time, Nero will erase START of track.)
Hm... can you send me ONE SMALL track with silence? I will use this and send you that what I will receive.
