Do you have any samples of your playing?

A rather outdated mp3. I can play that theme much better now. It doesn't sound brilliant - I don't think I played it very well.
I got the tempo all wrong for the 'stage clear' theme.

Nice playing actually, very nice...
Sounds good overall, but a bit out of tempo at places and I don't like the bass line very much... Maybe palm mute the bass strings so you get another kind of sound, or play with equalizier or sth I don't know really.. The bass just doesn't sound like it should. IMO
It's cool though, rock on.
Anyways the recording is very good quality how did you record it? I'm really new to recording and I really have no idea how to do that lol

I used an input device that connects my guitar to the computer and recorded with Audacity.
I'm thinking about re-doing it some time, because of the bass line. As you said, it didn't sound right. That alwasy bugged me, but I could never find time (or rather, couldn't be bothere

) to record again.
And if you don't have one of the input devices and would like one, I got it from Maplins. If you don't live near a Maplins, try Amazon.

Hmmm, I suppose you need a good sound card then?

No, it's my fault. I edited the bass line a little with Audacity. I wished that I hadn't, but I had saved the file thus making it impossible to undo the move.

No, what I meant was, I'd need a good sound card to record it this way right?

As long as your computer has a "line-in' then it should work just fine.

Only quite a good one. Any sound card will emulate the guitat's sound.

Actually I bought a mic now and it's perfect.

I'm gonna have to learn how to play that on my keyboard at some point. At one point I could just about play a song from the Sega game "Columns". Wish I could be good with any instrument.

That's really nice playing, same. Keep at it.
