Yep, we are. I quite like Umber, cause he just walks into the lava.

He is from Stone, and stone doesn't burn. If stone would burn with Lava, we would not exist

Why should he waste his life? He was once a quite nice man, but the Pirates manipulated him, so he is very dumb now.
Well, the only difficulty is, that the camera and Rayman's movement was so weird. It's a pity that there was such a bad final enemy for this awesome level.

How can the pirates 'manipulatE' Umber? I mean, he's just a Gothic statue.

He plant him a chip in his brain, what else?

A brain? I repeat, he's a Gothic statue!
But is he related to a penguin? I mean, he doesn't RUN into the lava, now, does he? He, well, sort of WADDLES. It makes perfect sense. Think about it. A penguin and a Gothic statue in bed...?

Wait...What have UbiSoft been smoking?

Perhaps he does have a brain, or at least something that controls his speech and thoughts. I mean, how else would he be able to communicate or walk?
I guess conversely he could be controlled by Polokus or another aristocratic being...? Heh.

Xenon's right.
Polokus created the Four Masks, imprisoned them in sanctuaries and made 5 Guardians to protect them. Therefore, Polokus controls Umber.

It's just a theory though. I mean, in a sense that would work, but then why would Polokus try to reason with Umber in the first place?

I doubt he controls Jano.

If Polokus controlled the guardians, he'd just make them grab the masks, which would teleport them to Polokus. Then Polokus would take the masks from the guardians, awaken and destroy the Robo-Pirate Army, all without Rayman lifting a finger.

That's assuming that they can teleport (which is unlikely). And who knows, there could be other important things in the sanctuaries that still need to be guarded. But it doesn't make sense that Polokus would control them, since they attack Rayman.

Well I was only talking about Umber, but it still seems a little farfetched.

Umber helps Rayman. He is nice. If Umber was bad he would crunch Rayman like a Cornflake.

Well, Polokus created the four masks and placed them in sanctuaries guarded by 5 feirce creatures.

There were four guardians of masks, but five guardians in total.

There are only four masks and three sanctuaries though. Jano is completely unrealted to the other 4.
