Oh, defiantly Wii. No competition. None at all.
The Wii has actually unique controls while the PS3 is the same normal control scheme. PS3 is pretty much a PS2 with better graphics and a bunch of HD mumbo-jumbo. It barely has any games, while the Wii has many, and many of those games are popular and fun. (Brawl) And on the Wii, you can play a ton of old classic Nintendo and Sega games. Wii also has many great Wii-Ware exclusive games. (Mega Man 9)
So, Wii wins everytime in my book.

Resident Evil 5 will be a 360/PS3 game, which is a very bad point for the Wii though

It's because the Wii GPU isn't powerful enough for Capcom. It's the Wii's biggest disadvantage: The graphics are crappy. It isn't even capable of producing HD quality images which is HisAliRou.
Plus it's overpriced.

I think by now in 2008, graphics in a game shouldn't be the only thing focused on. It's a nearly useless stat. And HD is pretty useless too.

Actually, graphics play an important part. They're certainly not useless. A more powerful console, both CPU- and GPU-whice, gives game developers more freedom. It's harder to program for complex games for weaker consoles -like the Wii- simply because it doesn't have as much processing power as the powerhouses 360/PS3 (and powerful PC's). Also HD does wonders for image quality. If you've ever seen HD you'd understand what I mean.
Of course it is possible to create great games without great graphics (And no, Brawl is not a great game. I tried it, and was very dissapointed with it.). Still, when you have the opporunity to make a powerful console, it seems strange that Nintendo opted to go with a cosole that has approximately the same processing power as the last generation Xbox. And it is bullshit that when game developers get the opportunity to make games with stunning graphics, they "forget" about gameplay elements! There are plenty of games with both awesome graphics and great gameplay! Look at Oblivion! Look at Gears of War! Look at Forza Motorsport 2! All brilliant games with both gameplay and graphics.
It's not a coincidence that most people who whine about "graphics are not important!!!111

" are Wii fanboys. Graphics are an important part of gameplay, whether you like it or not.
Lastly: You want your girlfriend to be charming, smart, funny, intelligent etc, but you don't want her to look like a troll either.

I find this extremely funny.

It's overrated. It's fun... for a while. Just like Halo 3, it has been hyped up and praised by fanboys. The truth is that they are two good games, not God's gift to mankind (they are both much better when you play with other people, online or locally, though.).

I'd agree that it's been a litlle over-hyped, but it's still a really great game.

8.4/10 imo. Same for Halo 3. Halo: CE is still awesome, though.

I love Brawl.
Maybe people... errr, know that by now.
It has it's obvious flaws though. Like the zooming in and out as the characters move around, it annoys me. If you somehow manage to push everyone else of the arena, the camera will zoom in on your character while they are gone, and then you can't see anything around you.
And some of the characters are so annoying. (Peach. Kill her now. As for Sonic, please just remove that thing from existence already) I'm impressed by how balanced most of the characters are though. All of them have their strength and weaknesses and stuff, and even those characters who seem to be pretty much the same, have their little differences that makes one or the other better fit for a player.

I've played Brawl at a friend's house once and thought it was quite fun, but I guess that's cos I played it with my friends.

Got annoying after a while though, then we just let Boris' little brothers play it and continued jamming.

Well all games are more fun when you play them with friends.

Unless those friends are fucking retards that don't know how to play the game and ask questions EVERY fucking second. Or if they press the god-damn buttons too hard. Or if they act like pompous ass holes whenever they do something right. JESUS CHRIST!!!! THAT PISSES ME OFF!!!!!!

Yeah, but generally games are funnier in multiplayer than single player. A great example of that is the FIFA series. Great on Xbox Live, or even better, locally. But when you play it alone it gets boring pretty fast.
