The Play station 3 is now making it's price cheaper against the wii which was became so popular.

Who do you think will be the popular one in the future? I mean, who do you like best?

I prefer WII.The best game console i've ever used.

i would say the wii. the wii is interactive making it more fun then just pressing buttons and doing nothing else.

I have only played the Wii, but all I can say is that the PS3 may be great, but isn't worth its price.

I see no reason to buy a PS3 if all of the games coming out for the PS3 are gonna be on other consoles. The only reason to buy a PS3 is for the Blueray player.

there only a few really good games that are only for the ps3 like ratchet and clank tools of destruction and stuff.

I agree...it's high difinsion DVD player. My dad would like that too.

Yeah but right now that is its only good game.

I would actually just buy the HDDVD/Blueray/DVD multi format player, sense it is hard to tell which video platform is gonna come out on top.

I can get a blu-ray drive for my computer cheaper then the PS3. I'd rather get the Wii (as well as the 360).

The PS3 may be newer, but its hardware is weaker then the Xbox 360.

PS3 even uses a Server Processor, which makes it worse for games because server processors are for SERVER applications, not games. Their graphics card in the PS3 is weaker then the one in the 360.

All that is the reason why some games won't work on the PS3, but can the 360.

Other then that, I have played on the PS3... there is a game I liked on it. I forgot the name of it, and I found that they did a nice job on their controllers becase they feel lighter then the PS2 and PS1 controllers.

If the PS3 got cheaper, then I may get it too.

The Wii is better. I am getting one soon.

The Wii is an interesting console. (Have one, by the way.) The motion sensing is impressive technology, and it's so inexpensive. (Retail, not market prices.) Then is the Xbox360 (my personal favorite). Excellent controller, still the shooter console, the generation's most powerful hardware, and a load of awesome games. (Look at the second half of 2007--lots of amazing releases that I'm probably going to get.) The PlayStation 3 I've always seen as a gimmick. First the $600 price tag, now praising its hardware to be stronger than the Xbox360's. (Not true, by the way.) That, and the only exclusive that interested me was (if it doesn't end up ported) Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Of the two, I prefer the Wii, it is a fun console, though I prefer the Xbox360 to the both of them.

I've never really liked Playstation. ._. But Wii is great, I love the controls, even though they can be a bit bothersome when you just want to sit on your ass and play on a rainy day.

The Wii is excellent. The PS3 is overrated. Those two sentences make up the majority's opinion.

The price of the PS3 is so high because of the Blu ray player... it's orsum but useless....

The Wii, I would say. I've played the PS3 with a friend once. It's not bad, but the games aren't the best it seems. However, I find the Blue-Ray function to be rather interesting.

Well, that depends on a few things:
a) Have you got HD TV?
b) Is PS3 40GB model?
c) Do you want to play with it, or what?

a) Yes=PS3, No=Wii
b) Yes=Wii, No=PS3
c) Yes=Wii, Something another=PS3

That's all.

Ah, I forgot. If you have got GC or PS1, choice is very easy. With PS2 - harder.

Never played on a PS3 [or at least, I don't recall], so I'm going for the Wii. I love how interactive it is to the point that that it provides a good workout.

i don't really like either.
the ps3 is hardly worth its price with very few exclusive games that are actually good.
the wii is good, but i personally don't like the wiimote, it just feels wierd to me, but i'm quite certain most other people don't feel this way.
but i think i'd prefer a wii.

WII is my favourite platform. Everything about it is fantastic. GO NINTENDO!!!
