Rayman's Facebook page has been posting awesome little images using the assets from Rayman Legends for a good while now.

Since we never hear shit from Ubisoft or anything, I really appreciate the Facebook page's efforts to keep us entertained. Many a chuckle has been had.

Nice stuff, I hadn't seen it! Especially the one inspired by the original game.

I agree, although not as fun as the Sonic one

I must disagree with this one as the tone there is more annoying and every time I bring up a perfect example of how a social media page should interact with it's fans while also giving the source content the respect that it deserves is the Rayman Facebook page.
The Official Sonic channels lately are nothing but a plethora of shitty and/or overused meme jokes regarding a certain drawing and leg day, perhaps some Boom praise here and there. Older game content is used as laughing stock, so the people who are coming there for da laughs are having something to point their fingers at while those who have been loving the franchise for decade(s) can stay on this page which they "Liked" because of "Sonic The hedgehog" and keep listening to how some people who "just wanna have some fun" are continuously making fun of the content that they've grew up with.
As a veteran Sonic fan I can say that now is a really difficult time to be much a thing.
Allow me to present an example: Imagine if the OFFICIAL Rayman Facebook page would spam images about how Rayman 2 sucks because of this and that and would indirectly make fun of anyone who DARES to love that game. That's exactly what's been going on at the Sonic channels since last year when they re-hired that sorry-ass Aaron Webber. It was like the Rayman page before: Fan Art Contests, Fan Image Contests, Occasional Article Links, Occasionally remembering/acknowledging certain games, etc. Now it's almost just memes, nothing else. It may be funny for someone who goes there for da laughs, but as a Sonic fan I find this self-destroying mentality "we suck and we know it and we don't care LOL" incredibly stupid, heartbreaking and demoralizing.
"LY LOOKS LIEK A HERMAPHODITE AND DUUUHHH RAYMAN 2 TAKES THINGS WAAAAAAYYY TOOOO SERIOUSLY, LOL!"

I have to agree with you there, SpyroGuy. The Sonic Twitter was fun at first, but now it's just yet another reason not to take the Sonic franchise seriously. When all the official social media outlets treat a game like a joke, why shouldn't the rest of the world?

Ikr? It's super awkward, because Sonic never was a purely comedy oriented franchise, but with this current mindset it's on the verge of losing ALL of it's substance thanks to the bullshitting that is going around now. "Eh, Sonic was never that good to begin with, the people who have built an emotional connection to the franchise during their childhood years are super stupid weird people because a stupid stupid animal character shouldn't have ANY kind of ambitiousness or serious storytelling in it."
It's disgusting to hear this disguised message from the official channels.

I like that when the game developers make the franchise stay fresh and updated with posting fun pictures on social network sites. However, I saw some people talking about the Sonic Twitter/Facebook page, and I have to say that is a thing you shouldn't Like. I don't understand why they have to ruin Sonic with stupid memes and jokes. Everyone now just laughs at Sonic, and they think it's a stupid cartoon character, like the other 1,000 one. Why don't they post cool pictures or art if they don't have any other idea?
Anyway, I hope we'll get some great Rayman games for PC and consoles soon, I can't wait!

Well, if I'd be observing this from the outside (not as an actual veteran Sonic fan) I'd say that they are trying to low the audience's expectations on purpose. They are doing incredibly retarted marketing strategy by not disclosing any informations about their upcoming products AT ALL and even during community events they are openly spitting on their past accomplishments (at least that jackass Aaron Webber does), so they're either extremely stupid for giving Aaron this job back (he was already fired once, lol) or maybe don't care anymore? I don't know...but whatever the truth is, I can tell that I'm losing my motivation day by day, so I guess that they're....accomplishing their goals of killing off the fanbase by starving it to death?....I guess?
Whatever, Aaron Webber is a piece of crap.
