Rayman Pirate-Community

Hello everyone,

I have been your community manager for now 11 months, and I have to say I absolutely loved it.
I am proud and honored to have been (well, I believe I was) a "part of the History" of such an awesome brand.

Rayman was my first video game and I always loved it eversince, and this was my dream job.
But today, this dream's over, because my contract with Ubisoft Montpellier ends tonight.

I wanted to thank you all for your warm welcome, your kindness and for being the best community I ever had to work with (and probably the best community EVER).
Don't get happy too fast, I'll stay around to bother you , but just not as Ubi-Mya

Wow, so soon? It feels as if you've only just come around. Well, it's been nice to meet and talk with you in the time you've been here, and thanks for being a great manager for the fans, and for Ubi. I'm happy that the fanbase was able to share their passion for the Rayman series with you, and I wish you all the best in the future.

Since you started working as the Rayman CM I noticed a huge boost in interaction between us, as a community, and the Rayman team. Events like the "I ♥ Rayman" contest, or even sending out goodies to dedicated fans showed just how much you cared for the (relatively small) Rayman fanbase. I could tell you made a large effort to engage with the fanbase as much as possible, on Twitter, Facebook, the Ubisoft forums and of course, even on this site (despite it not being run by Ubisoft). It is very sadenning for me (and I'm sure most other people too) to see you leave, and I wish you the best in wherever life takes you next.

If you've been running the Rayman facebook pages (hopefully I'm not mistaking for anyone else), you've done a really great job at quick communication and fan requests (i remember requesting for 'retro Rayman' a Street Fighter crossover, and someone on the team took that request.) Thanks for the great communication, and for providing a positive outlook on the fanbase.

Aww, man. Sorry to hear that your contract is ending, but nonetheless you were a great manager! Thanks for your great work, Mya. I wish you the best of luck towards your next step. Again, thank you for everything!

I fully agree.

Oh God, please don't tell me you were the only one running the Facebook page. Your custom images using the assets from Rayman Legends were positively delightful and I desperately don't want to lose those. Either way though, best of luck.

Well, I wish it was a bad joke, but it's not. Hunch can confirm it's not my IP from Ubi, since I'm on my couch cuddling my puppy
