So, er...what am I looking at exactly? A description borne from wishful thinking? A weird prank? Some weird delusion?
The fakeness is pretty blatant though, they've mixed two different VR standards.

"two different vr standards", nope. Gear VR is "powered by oculus", it's the oculus GEAR VR.

Looked it up, and you're right. My mistake, I retract that statement. Still, I am curious as to what the point of this was, April Fools was almost two months ago, this stunt just feels a bit underwhelming.

I was actually planning to port R2 or do something to make it work on Gear VR, but the logo and formatting fucked up due to being on mobile at the time and once you all said "fake!", i didn't really have anything else to produce to show anyone or prove them otherwise, so.. eh.

Fair enough, I am curious as to how a 3D platformer would work in VR, it seems better suited to first person endeavours than those with a camera following a player character.
