Leaderboards suggestion

There are leaderboards for Rayman 3 on this site (the Hall of Fame), but why not also have leaderboards for the other games as a lot of Rayman games have one way or another to gain a highscore? For example the Ly's challenges in Rayman 2, the score mode in Raving Rabbids, all levels in time attack mode in Origins, the scores in Hoodlum's Revenge and the time attack mode in Raving Rabbids GBA? I know they don't have codes to enter like Rayman 3, but there could be some kind of limit where if you passed the limit you'd need to show a picture as evidence. That's just a suggestion of mine, something which would probably make actually playing those time attack and score modes more fun as there's someone to compete against then.

Actually this is a really good idea. Especially because not everyone has Rayman 3. It would also make me dust off Origins and Legends. I hope your idea can be approved.

I remember another member creating a sort of records thread a while back, I can't remember if it was Rayrobi, Got4n or someone else, but I'm fairly sure it was one of the former two. I'll see if I can find it and dig it back up.

We both did actually, but Rayrobi was much more neat than mine, so I think we should consider diggin' his record page backup, it was named like Rayman Record - Earn tings by ...

Here is the topic.

As far as I could remember, I sent him my Origins records but Rayrobi kinda left the forum. Someone might have to take over the handling with the records, since he hasn't been logged on at all in 2016.

Wouldn't it be better to have it integrated to the site rather than just a forum? Because if it's in a forum then someone has to be there taking care of it and continuously updating the scores themselves. But if there is a forum which has an active member who takes care of it I guess that's fine too, though those forums you're talking about seem rather dead.

I think it's a great idea to have leaderboards integrated here, but video proof would probably be necessary.

Or you could take a picture with a piece of paper on the screen that says your username.
It would totally give other people a chance to earn some tings or just feel accomplished.

But there's always the emulator problem then I guess as it's insanely easy to cheat on an emulator. Though if there was a no emulator rule I'd imagine there wouldn't be as many people entering (I could be wrong however, I personally don't use emulators).

I would assume Master or some other mod would update the records. I do believe talking to Humch about having separate record pages like the Rayman 3 Hall of Fame a couple of a years ago. But nothing came from it.

I could see it having a few issues like potential cheating, but honestly people could cheat Rayman 3. It really comes down to whether moderators will manage the multiple game scores. Maybe slowly introducing each game would help to ease people into the new scoring system and it would give the mods some breathing room.

I guess this is where modding might be neat, imagine if we could mod the games to generate codes as Rayman 3 did.

That would be pretty neat actually. But I am not sure how people would do it.

How would that even make any difference? The code is just a replacement for the actual number (your score). If you cheat your score, the code generated will still be a code of that cheated score.

That is true. Maybe we should just use the trust system. I know most people on this board would play fairly anyway.
