As I know Nintendo took a close down on guy who was developing 2D fangame of AM2R for 11 years.I think that's kind of unfair.

Firstly nice pun with the title, secondly It is unfair but I guess nintendo just have a problem with other people using they're game titles, also I still think it was a good training for the guy he'll may come up with cool new ideas in the future, I agree that its a shame that it happened but we can't really do anything about it.
