Hello guys I would like to deepen a childhood's little dilemma of when I played and finished Rayman 2 the first time.
On ending credits of the PlayStation version appear at one point "In Loving Memory Of Sébastien Bicorne". So, Sébastien Bicorne was a game designer and up to this point everything is clear, but he's really dead in 2000?
If yes, anyone know how is dead? And why he was credited ONLY in the PlayStation version?
Thanks in advance to all

Usually memoriums are done for members of staff in the credits if they passed away at any point during a project. There is a page on MobyGames but other than game credits there's no bio or anything, so anything could have happened.

Grim I know but it does make you wonder.

He is the man whose likeness the Teensies were based on. Died of a stuffy nose.

Hello, Sébastien was a 2D artist (expert pixel art) who worked (at least) the Street Racer game (by Vivid) and an early artist on Rayman. I don't remember which year he died exactly of some hillness but it was around those years (he was in his 20s). He always had CD months before their release because his roommate was working for a music major. Last month another guy from old Rayman games died of hillness, an 'infodesigner' (now called GamePlay Programmer): Olivier Dauba who did (among a lot of things) the turtles of Rayman 3 spawning love hearts when close to each others. ^__^
