I was just playing Rayman 1 for game boy color today, I decided to get all the cages to get to the bonus dark legacy levels. Then all of a sudden after getting all the cages the game said I was on 85% complete even know I got all the cages then I went to see the bonus level spots and the bonus level spots were locked! then I went to check if I missed any levels and all the cages were freed! No spots showing a cage just an electoon! I went to play the levels and it said that all the cages were freed in every level! Then I went back it still said I was on 86%! Then I tried going to the bonus levels and time attack levels again and it still didn't let me in! stupid game! Then I decided to just use a password from someone else who had it 100% with all cages freed but no bonus levels completed and had 99 lives on it

Here is a post to sum things up... it was a big glitch can Someone tell me how to fix this glitch?

Are you sure you just didn't miss any cages? The map is not very linear, so you might have missed to check some levels. Did you try restarting the game and loading it using your password again?

I am completely Sure that I didn't miss any cages, I checked fiery depths, airy tunes, Arcane forest, spellbound forest, rainy forest, rocky peaks and ancient forest, I tried restarting the game and using my password again and still nothing happened! This was my password:

Well this is odd. I used the code on my GBA to check and I couldn't find any missing cages either. Now, it's been a while since I last played this version, but I don't think you've missed anything... You can try something like replaying the final level to see if it'll help. If someone has decrypted the password system they might be able to see what's wrong. I'll try comparing your password to mine tomorrow since I remember writing down all passwords as I played.
Edit: I sadly enough can't find the passwords.

If you want I can share the final password, I also wrote mines down when I played it.
