My favorite 3D adventure games: The legend of zelda Ocarina of Time,Twilight princess and Majora's Mask, Rayman 2.
Favorite shooters: Metroid prime 3 WII
Favorite platformers: Mario & Luigi Partners in time, The legend of zelda Link to the past
Favorite Race game: Burnout 3 takedown (i played this with my friend)

Alot of people have probably said this but....Rayman 2. Cus I've actually played it now!! And it is orsum.

Rayman 2 is overall my favorite game ever and my favorite platformer. Brawl is my favorite fighting game, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is my favorite RPG (although Paper Mario 2 follows close behind), my favorite racing game is Mario Kart Wii, and my favorite party game is Crash Bash.

It is really hard to choose just one but Rayman Revolution (Rayman 2: The Great Escape in general) it is the best game I ever played on my life.
I have other favorite games like the Croc series, SPORE, Claw, etc.

Best 2D platformer: Super mario world/Rayman 1
Best 3D platformer: Rayman 2/Super mario 64 (a good sonic game)
Best sandbox game: GTA San Andreas/Mafia 2 (Not released yet, i think)
Best FPS: All Half Life games/Team Fortress 2/All Halo games
Best 3D adventure games: TLOZ: OoT/MM/TP
Best 2D adventure games: TLOZ: ALttP/Minish Cap

There are too many good games to come up with a clear winner...
Best First Person Shooter: Half-life 2 & Episodes
Best Platformer: Rayman 2
Best Racing Game: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (soon full game)
Best Third Person Shooter: Star Wars Battlefront
Best Action/Adventure title: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Best Stealth game: tie between MGS4 (better story) and MGS Peace Walker (more fun overall)

I have both versions. Including the wii version. Looking forward to 3ds.
