I'm expecting this one to have very mixed opinions and that's what makes it interesting. I said when I was young that I would never drink, but that was a massive lie.

I enjoy having a few beers at night, but I know there will be other people totally against drinking too. I guess it's each to their own.

haha! I said the exact same thing when I first got my driver's license.

Now as he's said before, everyone's different and can choose whether to drink or not. My only words of wisdom are, if you choose to drink, drink moderately, especially if you are driving! Moderately for me is about once/twice a month, maybe a few if I feel like it.

Off the top of my head, how about one regarding how often one upgrades to a newer phone? I guess it would be something like:

More than once per year
Once per year
Once every two years
After two years
Use it until it breaks

I just came up with it and realised there was never a poll about it, so wondered if it was worth a try.

Maybe we can have a poll about the belief in "life after death"?

Well here are the results, with my very unpopular opinion!
To be fair, I did give it up for years, and I only have a few before bed, but I'll soon change that habit and stick to only having a few on occasions.

As for the next poll, I guess I could give R4Y's idea a try. I just have to try come up with options for it first.

I'm actually surprised at how many people here don't drink at all. I guess it stands to reason, since we're on a forum about a kids' game and all, but down through the years we've always had people old enough to drink, and it was (and still is, I guess) discussed openly. I don't know, I'm pretty sure the majority here were drinkers, at least for some while…

For options on life after death, how about:
– Don't believe in it at all
– Believe in something, no idea what it is
– Believe in what I was taught growing up
– Believe in something concrete, different from what I was taught growing up

I created it with those options as "what's your opinion on reincarnation?", which I assume is what R4Y is referring to as life after death.

I believed in it before. That was during the messed up times when I was younger and being in the third form level of my original school.

So I guess the third option is for me since I have "realised" how life works out years ago.

Tbh I'm pretty undecided on how to vote regarding this poll. I'd like to believe that there really is a heaven/afterlife after death, but what comes after death really is just a big unknown to most of us. I'll go with I believe something, but no idea what.

I think it can be impolite at times when it's a really important occasion. But I shuoldnt' talk, since I use my phone on occasion too

These polls actually expired the other day and I hadn't been keeping up on it. I'll sort them out after RD.

I don't want to touch that above post in case it makes a difference to RD.

I was kind of in between I find it extremely annoying or it's impolite, but I went with the latter, since there may be times where a person just has to check something, while there are some people who are glued to their phones also.

Seems like a decent suggestion, I'd have to think of some options for it.

I feel like I could really just slap the phone out of anyone's hand that uses it in social gatherings. I mean, at times it is understandable during the gathering, but that's just not what they're about at all and if anyone does that the whole way through instead of talking with the other people, why did they agree to go in the first place if they know they don't like those people? (I may have booned a bit there, so sorry if that did happen. )

I wouldn't really care to be honest hence I chose "It doesn't bother me that much". It is kinda annoying to some but it doesn't bother me mainly because I mind my own business. It is theirs if they want to do so. People decide to be stupid sometimes and I wouldn't want to give them attention.

If the feeling of slapping the phone out of someone's hand was an option. I definitely wouldn't pick it. I wouldn't dare to do so, especially when I am in this country. People are just immature most of the time here. I would just be asking to get cursed or beaten(to death) if I provoke them like that.

Oof, sorry. I wouldn't actually do it of course because I know it would be wrong and I'm a good person, but still. Also, I guess you're right in the sense that people do stupid stuff sometimes and it's their thing if they do. It's just that I only mind my own business too, though only in this case this kind of upsets me still because it is a social gathering after all.
