Rayman 3D FPS Boost?

Soon Im going in a trip so I want to take a Rayman game to entertain me in the car.
I remember that I got Rayman 3D, but this game's frame rate is Horrible. I have the New 3DS, so I read in the RayWiki that there is a way to boost the frame rate, can someone give me a Tutorial or something like that?
