Does anyone know if there is a game like Rayman 3, with that kind of art direction? I have seen "Yooko-Leelee", but it doesn´t feel like any of the 3D installments of Rayman.

Maybe Psychonauts? It really depends what it is about Rayman 3 that you liked though.

I liked the colorful backrounds and the attention to detail in terms of the side-characters, and a little story with a villain is always hilarious. Other platformers that I like are Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, Woody Woodpecker Buzz Buzzyard´s park and Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets. Voodoo Vince and Psychonauts have a little too dark color palettes for my taste.

The only games I can think of are the Tak series on PS2/Gamecube, especially Tak 2. The world is very Glade of Dreams-ish and there's this strange dream world you are taken to that always reminded me of Rayman.

These don't really have the same art direction, but Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank are two of my favorite PS2 3rd person platformers with similar gameplay to R3, though I suppose you've probably played them already.

Not quite what I envisioned. Siera´s "Robots" and "Ice Age 2" platformers were the once I really enjoyed as a child. Are there anything like those?

Kao the Kangaroo Round 2, man. Why not? I think it's the prime example.
