Probably Rayman. When I saw "Rayman Whorigins" which was a animation parody of Rayman Origins made in Newgrounds, I ridiculously thought he was "the one" even though it pains me to say it.

I confess, I castrated Rayman back in 2005 which physically and emotionally scarred Rayman, causing him to go insane post-R3. I ruined the series.

I have to agree, it's gotta be Lac-Mac. Inspector Grub comes in a close 2nd though.
