Rayman Pirate-Community

Yep...you read that right. If you have ever heard of FIrst4Figures, then you should know by now they make beautiful high quality statues. What makes them unique, however, is that in their First4Figures Official Collector's Club group on Facebook they have the fans choose what characters will be made next. This is how the process works:

• 1. Characters that are recommended by the members often become more aware by the admins and the admins then make a poll (one is already created for Rayman).
  2. All members of the group vote on the poll for the new character ("no" votes do NOT count, they only pay attention to "YES" votes!).
  3. Characters that have "YES" votes of 550 or more are then seriously considered by First4Figures and they go to the company who holds the license for that character to see if they will be allowed to have the rights to creating an official piece.
  4. If they are granted the rights to create a statue of the character, they go over the design process in which ALL members get to say "yay" or "nay" to the design before they submit it to the company who owns the character for approval.
  5. Once the design is approved by the character owners, First4Figures then goes into manufacturing the statue.

They make beautiful hand painted pieces, and I think it's about time we work together to get a much larger size statue of Rayman made other than the life-size Oxmox. The only obstacle the group is experiencing now is that there is a shortage of Rayman fans in the club. If we can reach at least 550 "YES" votes, we can show them that there IS a demand for Rayman and First4Figures will then approach Ubisoft for a license...in which Ubisoft can give them a thumbs up or a thumbs down, but it's definitely worth a shot. I have been with this group long enough to see that our votes DO make things happen!

That's actually something I would probably really like having, however I don't believe our community could make a big enough change for them to invest in making a Rayman statue for the mass to buy.

The poll is for a company called First4Figures. If they get enough "yes" votes (this poll currently has no expiration date) then they will contact Ubisoft about designing a Rayman statue.

Let's say these votes improve, they gain license approval from Ubisoft and they do make a statue for them, it will go like this: First4Figures will ask members of the group which style of Rayman they would want to see and will make a design mock up to send to Ubisoft for approval; however, companies they have dealt with before (like Nintendo) have wanted current designs rather than past designs. For example, although members want another Ocarina of Time Link statue, Nintendo would rather have First4Figures make a Link Breath of the Wild statue first while the iron's hot. All depends on how the company responds to them and how good the votes look for a specific style as all votes are sent to the game companies.

In all honesty though, I would love ANY Rayman statue.
If I have to choose, it would be to have Rayman's design from Rayman 2 or a nice Henchman 800 statue with some LEDs.

I do like the Henchman 800 with LEDs, would be pretty badass. A person can dream on though.

Well, this does seem to be a verified and legit method. It might very well be a stepping stone towards such an item.

The Henchman 800 with leds idea is cool, but personnally I would prefer a statue of Rayman himself.
