Rayman has 2 Different Timelines

I do not know if my theory is true, but according to me Rayman has 2 different time lines, we have the Origins and Legends, and we have what could be the original timeline (From Rayman 1 to Rayman 3, mentioning that Raving rabbids 1 , 2, TV Party and Arena are Spin - Offs)
Since as some do not know, Rayman Origins and Legends are not part of the original timeline, I explain:
Rayman origins is not a direct sequel at all, it would be an alternate story to the original (Well, it's called origins since it revives the old characters and that nostalgic essence of the first title)
the same happens with Legends, but this is a direct sequel to Rayman Originis (Which takes place 100 years after this) which leads us to the following conclusion:
Rayman 4 will really exist

What do you think?

Perhaps. But in Rayman Origins, Mister Dark has been defeated (the Magician being an admirer of his), which suggests that it comes after Rayman 1.

In fact Mr. Dark was defeated as you say, but he was never "Completely Extermined" so to speak, he only disappeared when Rayman defeated him, nobody knows his whereabouts

Didn't Ancel literally confirm that Origins takes place after Rayman 3?

He mentioned his desire for the game to be a proper sequel, though I don't know if he ever concretely clarified the position of the UbiArt titles in the timeline. Annoyingly, it doesn't look like an interview is cited in the Origins' RayWiki article either.

Well apparently only know when there is information about the "next game", which reveals if this theory is true of the universes and chronological order (Since we only know that Rayman 1,2 and 3 are ordered)
