Hello. I'm having problems with the gog version of Rayman 3 not launching. I've tried better Rayman 3, installing directplay, and running as administrator but none of the options worked. Is there any other solutions?

Is the gog version the only version of rayman 3 your having? do you have any other consoles the game was released on (Nintendo Gamecube, XBAX 360 ect.) and a copy of the game to verify if the gog version is the only one you've got a problem with launching?

At the moment the gog version is the only one I have.

What version of your computer do you have (Windows vista, 7, 8.1 or 10)

I have windows 10.

Hey Stormtrooper,

Did you try uninstalling / re-installing the game? If you want to avoid gamesaves lose make a copy of your GAMEDATA folder and move it back to your Rayman 3 folder once the game is re-installed.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it still didn't work

I did a Google research and found out someone else was experiencing the same troubles than you ages ago.

To all having troubles, try downloading this zip archive (open the page and click the arrow to download), and extracting the contents to the folder you installed the game into (make sure that d3d8.dll is in the same folder as Rayman3.exe). Hopefully this will work for all of you, as well as me.

I tried it and it worked. . My only problem right now is the camera control not being mapped to the right analog stick but rather the touchpad on the ps4 controller. And the framerate sometimes drops in random areas.

Do you use DS4windows? If so, you can remap the mouse movements to the right analog stick.

Hello guys,

I have Rayman 3 on PC, regional czech dubbed version with implemented better rayman 3 patch, a I have a problem. I already had game installed and working on my pc, but then I didnt play game for 2 months. During these 2 months, I didnt do anything with my system or game files. But the game suddenly stopped working - game stuck on first loading screen into ESC skippable man with main theme. I can hear sounds game is working, I can navgate to gameplay, but nothing renders, just loading screen and when I get game in background in windows and then again put into screen, it happens things what is on screenshot below. I tried multiple fixes you wrote in he past in forum, like Directplay reinstall, c++, DX8to9 Wrapper change file... but nothing work. It is my favourite game from childhood so it is bad for me Sorry, bad English.
Any ideas? Thank you.

Is it Windows 11? Maybe Microsoft broke it with an update

Yea, windows 11, but on same win 11 update version, another friend's pc it is working. Really strange

If they REALLY broke it with an update, screw you Windows!

Does your friend's PC have the same graphics card?

No, his is rtx5060, mine is integrated iris Xe

I have the newest driver on mine card, windows 11 version the newest too

Yeah, so it's likely that an update has broken something with Rayman 3 on Iris Xe, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, newest ≠ best. It seems likely that a Windows update has broken something with the Iris Xe driver, and that it hasn't been fixed yet.

Hello, today Windows update service donwloaded Intel display driver which solved my problem! Everything is working now. Thanks fo help.
