Yeah on sweet things it actually does. It used to be so nice when Starbucks used to put salt on the whipped cream when they first put salted caramel drinks out but after a while they stopped. Easy thing to do at home though.

I do tend to use some salt on certain things like chips and certain meals.

I rarely use salt on my own cooking but I always make sure it's there for others to put on. In those rare times it'd be when I made my own potato wedges.

I always salt my water heavily when I'm cooking something in it.
