Thanks to Steo and The Jonster, there’s finally a detailed PSX strategy guide for Rayman 1!

Yeah let's.
I'm sure the explanations and pictures should explain the locations well enough but the one thing I didn't clarify is the positions of magicians. I took screenshots on all the ones I seen during the play-through but if anyone thinks I missed any I'll recap.
The main thing is all the cages are definitely there

I guess Bongo Hills was all I missed then. Not too bad for just playing through myself to miss just one
