Blue did still come out in Japan as a special edition later that year, though since I stated outside Japan, the answer is still correct regardless.

Unfortunately not, Kingdom Hearts is actually the 10th best seller with 6.4 million copies sold. There is a game which sold a little over 3 times as many copies.
