The GoG Rayman games are on sale again

I was just Googling something when a GoG result of Rayman 2 being 65% off popped up. Every Rayman game on GoG is currently 65-66% off. I'm definitely considering buying them again myself at that price considering they're DRM free instead of having to use Uplay for them. Legends is the only one that makes sense to use on Uplay since it has Uplay achievements.

EDIT: Actually it's every game except Rayman Forever that's on sale.

Yeah I think I'll just buy them all again to have them DRM free, including Origins. That way they'll have a much higher chance of working on Linux too than the Uplay versions :)

Oops they were on sale this Weeknd. And the only money I have on hand is cash....FUCK. :?

I wonder if they’ll do this deal again? I’d go out right now except it’s the dead of night right now...what lousy luck I must have.

Bumping this topic because we should definitely keep it active!

The Rayman games are currently on sale again on GOG, until 10/09/2024!
The classics have a -74% discount while Origins is at -70%!
:D
If you don't have them already, you can purchase Rayman Forever, Rayman 2 The Great Escape, Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc, Raving Rabbids and Origins at a very low price and they're DRM-free!

That reminds me of the time I bought rayman forever for the full £4.30 price and then it went on sale the next day for £1 :boon:

Maybe I should buy yet another copy of RRR? Origins for $6 is kinda steep when I already own two physical copies + Uplay (which was free). :fou2:

If you have the money it’s your choice, but I’m not really sure why you would :P

The truth? Just to support GOG. Although admittedly it's kinda funny, since I only feel like 'supporting' them when the prices are heavily discounted.

Oof that sucks, at least it doesn't cost much to begin with!
I don't remember how GOG handle refunds, but I know that a game suddenly going on sale within the few days you bought it can be a valid refund request on shops like Steam. So that could be something to try should that happen again!

I already bought all the Raymans (Raymen? :noel:) on GOG as they were my first PC Rayman games, but sometimes I do purchase games I already owned on Steam and some other platforms just for the sake of supporting GOG (and also performance/DRM reasons, having to launch a mandatory app is slow/annoying and uses too much memory in the background)...
And I also do it on sale 95% of the time, because I'm just cheap :noelnoir:

Yet, I also got the Steam and Uplay versions years ago... Which is totally a pointless waste of money, but hey, gotta support Rayman on PC/consoles and be a collector of intangible products because I'm an idiot :hap:

I mean, I guess the reason you guys get games on multiple platforms is the same reason I own Minecraft on every device I own :noel:

My son loves Minecraft, and after a couple of years of playing the free iOS version, managed to convince us to buy him the Java version in the Microsoft store. I think it's the only thing I bought in that store to date. 8)

He goes in and out of it. Now I think he is in one of the Roblox phases.

Yeah, I was watching a video about this phenomenon called the “2 week Minecraft phase” where everyone has, like, 2 weeks where they play Minecraft non-stop but then lose interest and don’t return for another few months/years :noel:

Back on topic - I decided to buy RRR in the end, together with HoMM IV and HoMM V (which are also on sale)- completing my collection. :)
