As the title says, Rayman just got confirmed for Brawlhalla, he'll come on November 6.

I have very, very mixed feelings on this that I won't even begin to decipher. Maybe it'll be fun!

Well here's our next best thing for the Rayman4Smash movement let's see how this goes.

I don’t get it why a lot of peoples say that they don’t want Rayman in this game just because that’s mean he’s will not be in Smash ? I mean it’s not because Rayman is in a fighting game that he’s can’t be in another one.
Also, i see other peoples saying that Rayman broke the lore of Brawlhalla when it’s was never confirmed that Rayman was canon in the lore (or the Brawlhalla and Rayman series are in the same universe ).

I'm not sure what they're on about on those twitter comments. To me this says nothing about Rayman's relationship with Smash Bros and I knew next to nothing about Brawlhalla until this post began making rounds. Reviews on Steam are positive and it has online mode. All I can say is that I enjoy the art direction in this game very much and I'm curious to see how Rayman's moves will be implemented.

Eh, that's their opinion and they're entitled to it, nothing more.

Personally I think this could be cool! Similarly to Pipann, I'm going to be keeping tabs on it.

Yeah, a lot of folks are saying this deconfirms Rayman in Smash. Obviously it doesn't, but it would be weird for Ubisoft to put him in a platform fighter exactly one month before putting him in another platform fighter. It could mean that Nintendo said no so they're going for the next best thing, or it could mean absolutely nothing. It's best not to worry and instead just take comfort knowing that we will definitely be playing as Rayman in a fighting game this year!

While I don't really like how some developers are utilizing the Rayman Origins/Legends design(for example I think they made his mouth a little too wide, probably in an attempt to replicate how it looked in those games), it still is neat to see him making a fighting game appearance .

I'll probably give this a shot.

Maybe their idea is to see how people react to his appearance in a fighting game. I feel like trying it out myself

I don't think this really negates his chances of making it into Smash. Keep in mind that the studio that makes Brawlhalla is also owned by Ubisoft so his inclusion into this game was essentially a shoo-in. Granted, I still won't be surprised if he doesn't make it into Ultimate despite me desperately wanting him in a Smash game since Brawl came out.

I still want to try this out regardless of Smash

I might get this game and try it out even before Nov. 6, I'm seriously curious about the game. I hope that when Rayman comes out some of the activity will return here.

I don't know if it will have that much impact to actually bring lots of attention here but we'll see. Either way I look forward to it.

Looks like Rayman's got some company!

This is fantastic news because it means there are some actual notable characters Rayman will get to go up against, rather than the OCs of Brawlhalla, which don't appeal to me at all. I know it's kind of predictable for Shovel Knight to show up in lesser platform fighters, but this time we've got FIVE of the major characters from the game, one of whom (Plague Knight) I've always thought would work much better in Smash than Shovel himself. I'm really excited to pit Rayman against these indie stars.

I actually can't wait myself to see how this will pan out. I haven't played the game yet and even though nothing is stopping me from trying it now, I think I'll wait until my birthday

I'm very excited about that fact and yeah, same, I will play it because Rayman will be in it and I would love to check out how he plays.

So am I, I can't wait to try it out

I'm really interested as to how the moveset will be implemented and whether it will be similar to the UbiArt ones. The spin attack would probably be OP but I guess we'll see what happens on only a few hours from now.
