Pretty self explanatory, methinks!
I'll start:
- a new Strider
- an HD rerelease of F-Zero GX

I think Ristar on SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis which was created by Sonic Team should've had a sequel. It just came out a little too late on the system and is likely a bit of a hidden gem since the PS1 and Saturn would have been out by then.

I really wish there was, not a sequel, but rather a new game set in the Legacy of Kain universe. I mean, there is potential. I don't necessarily think about a game with such great lore as the old games, but an MMO could be good. If done well, of course.
Thief, even if it's a reboot, remake, prequel, whatever. I know there was a new game in 2014 (and I loved it, as I did every other one), but I'm rather sure the series is kind of dead lately. Maybe the movie - if we ever learn anything about it - will make the series known once again, but die-hard fans will probably just ruin it with their constant whining (as it always happens with video game based movies).

A new F-Zero opus would be even better!
In bulk, I would like a sequel to the following somewhat forgotten game series: Myst, TimeSplitters, Altered Beast, Ghost'N'Goblins, Amnesia, Half-Life (

), Unreal Tournament, World of Goo, Shenmue (oh wait), Silent Hill, Viewtiful Joe and Prince of Persia.

I actually have that game for Sega Mega Drive funny enough. A friend just gave me it and said keep it.
I've never seen the second or third versions of it though.

Does Rayman qualify?
Besides that, I would have enjoyed more games from the Golden Sun series, even if I didn't really like Dark Dawn.

I wish BGE had a chronological sequel coming up. The way Ubisoft is these days I doubt it will ever happen.

The original plan was for BG&E3 to be the sequel, but I can't see BG&E2 (the prequel) being a game I want to play if it even comes out. I think we can forget about the saga being completed given Michel's departure from the industry.
My technique for dealing with the "cliffhanger" at the end of the first one is to just remember that Rayman 3 had a similar kind of ending and nobody really expected anything serious from that…

I know I'm replying to an old post, but what cliffhanger thing are you talking about? "See you in Rayman 4?"
And yeah, it's kind of sad what happened to Beyond Good and Evil happened, happened.

Actually, wasn't there a cancelled Jazz Jackrabbit 3 game that was 3D? It's too bad it was cancelled.

No, I mean the way André reappears, not that silly throwaway comment from Murfy!

Isn't the ending of R3 a flashback to justify how it even started?

Yes it is, but as a first-time player you don't know that

I guess it makes sense then since Rayman says "we're back where we started", at least in English.
