Bit of a late reply but back in 2013 there was a lot of controversy about Rayman Legends six month delay. Protestors in France would crowd the Ubisoft studio with posters, even Michel Ancel protested about the delay.

That was about the Wii U version being delayed by Ubisoft despite being finished.

Well, there were these sick exhibitionism videos in 'Wanna Kick Rayman' on GameCube, and the numbers chosen - Lesson 069, and Lesson 169. Coincidence, right? Right?

What about the beginning of The Bog Of Murk and the fact that Begoniax says "there's that pervert again", yet it got a 3+ age rating while Origins is 7+.

Yeah, I really don't know how that game got a 3+ rating. The way things are nowadays they'd probably rate it 16 or something even though Globox was joking by saying they're gonna be rated PG13.
I think they done the same thing where Rayman 2 is 3+, yet Rayman 3D and Rayman DS are 7. They're ports of the same games, what's wrong with people nowadays?

Heh. The entire time Begoniax is on screen she keeps making sexual innuendos and accuses Rayman of 'wanting to have his way with her'. It doesn't get any better when she meets Razoff at the end of the level. The Smash leak from 2015 caused alot of controversy to the point Ubisoft themselves were looking into the matter. Despite it being faked it really got people talking about Rayman and made him more popular.
