Yes, it was on Epic before (required joining with Uplay account when launched, and since then it was also bound with your Uplay account).

Cool. I don't like online game stores and the digital restriction management that is inherent to them, and keep them off my comps. By sheer coincidence, I did get a Uplay account and installed it on 1-2 computers a couple of months ago, as part of my research into the Russian version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. So it was very easy to just go and claim Rayman Legends just now, even though I already have a physical copy and played through a hacked version years ago.

Wow, that makes me feel just swell after purchasing it at full-price on the Switch just weeks ago, haha. That's not going to stop me from picking this up, though!

Don’t feel bad. The Switch version is better anyway. At least in my opinion. But of course this is free so now I own three copies of Rayman Legends.

Is there any difference in content in comparison to PC version?

Beside the fact you should be able to quick save on emulator

There's the Murfy's Touch levels bringing it to a total of 826 Teensies, but other than that and the extra character skins, it's kind of the same. People often say the Wii U version is the best.

yea switch version jsut gets all costumes, murfys touch, some other new kung foot content, and also they removed a button from the menu you access with x for literally no reason. yes i will never not complain about this.

Some people are mad about the “Definitive Edition” label but really I feel like having all the costumes and the option to play the levels with Murfy with and without the touch controls just makes for a more satisfying package. The Wii U original is fantastic and I’ll give it points for five player co-op. However I just prefer playing the game on the Switch. This is getting off topic though isn’t it? Uh...PC versionfor free. There. I’ve mentioned it and therefor it is on topic.

In the Switch version - are there additional costumes compared to other versions, or do you mean that they are unlocked from the start?

In the PC version I have all but 2 costumes unlocked, simply because it takes too much time to get 700,000+ lums without playing online challenges (which I don't do).

you still gotta get lums to unlock every costume (besides the barbara recolors and golden teensy of course) but it generally just has every costume from every version

It's not far-fetched that giving the game away for free is some kind of an atonement for that...

I don't have a PC at the moment (I use Mac), does anyone know if it is possible to download the file now and install the game later?

As far as I know, you don't need to download anything. Once you redeem the offer, the game is assigned to your account and you can download it any time on any computer.

Thanks for the info. I feel so bad, I completely got distracted with other things and couldn't get the game for free. I should have posted my question earlier.

Looks like it's free again till 05.05. Together with Assassin's Creed II and Child of Light.

Awesome, thanks a lot for letting us know! I have already claimed it, but since I have a Mac I can't download or launch Uplay, so I'll have to wait until a get a new laptop to play it .

I just claimed Child of Light. Maybe now I'll actually decide to play it some day.

Btw, can you successfully claim a game without having Uplay installed? Because I can't find any proof in my account of me acquiring Rayman Legends.
