An opinion is personal. It's yours, nobody elses. I have given you my view on Nintendo and several reasons for it. All you have done is basically saying 'omfg nintend0 ru3lz & ur a d0ltz f0r 7hink1nGz 0th3rw1ze!!!!!!111'. Then you tell me to go and die which I find quite insulting. The conclusion is that I won the discussion on walkover as I had well reasoned arguments whereas you had none. I even had a few well written opinions of others that supported my view.
I'm not gonna make you change your fanboyish opinion of Nintendo and that hasn't been my goal at all. Actually, I have been defending myself here, as the entire argument was sparked by that Aussie idiot saying 'You can't hate Nintendo!!!!'.

Not taking a stand, cause I simply don't know enough to have a pertinent opinion, but I'd simply like to say that I love the GameCube controller, which I find much better than the others, and also that there still are great games for this console, such as Resident Evil Rebirth and 4 (the latter was later adapted on PS2 though).

Tobbe: I won't add you to my enemy list, if you respect my opinion. I just like the Wii. And you have to get used to it, because it won't change.

I actually find the Wiimote and nunchucks quite comfortable. All the other controllers I've held tend to erode my thumbs. Oh joypad's thumb, I remember thee...

Imo the best controller by far this generation is the Xbox 360 controller. It is a brilliant piece of designwork! In the previous generation of consoles the Nintendo Gamecube controller was my favourite. It had its faults (the D-pad and the triggers), but overall its still a great controller. The Xbox 360 controller is the only one that's better.

Btw, I think it's wrong to categorize the Nintendo Wii as a 7th generation console along with the Xbox 360 and the PS3, as it's only really a Gamecube 1.1 with a motion sensitive controller. Continuing the generation metaphor, I would describe the Wii as the autistic savant son of the Gamecube.

I have to agree with that. The Xbox controller did have some nuisances (size, not for me though some, as well as opting for the "black and white buttons" over shoulder buttons above the triggers. As for the GameCube controller, I liked how the C stick was smaller than the analog stick as well as the trigger-like L & R buttons and the face button placement. The Xbox 360 controller is an excellent controller as well. It turned the black and white buttons into shoulder buttons (LB & RB), for one. You can access the Dashboard from the previously-decorative center button. Then the Back and Start buttons were moved to the sides of the center button, at least better than down where it was. Finally, it's comfortable and only as big as it need be. The DualShocks are ones I really don't care for--they don't feel right at all to me.

really? i find the dualschocks to be the best controllers i've ever used, although i've never played an xbox 360.

Then go play a Xbox 360. Its controllers are much, much better than both DualShock and Sixaxis controllers.
