It is overrated a lot.

It's mostly done when the username you want isn't available so you have to add a number at the end

Well i have a similar username on Phonandroid, Incognito was already used so i added my birthyear.

Prefer to use numbers I easily remember, like 64 or 3582. Adding my birthyear kinda seems like a stupid thing to do.

I actually considered doing that, but didn't in the long run, mostly for paranoia reasons.

I actually wrote a big post on Facebook about the choice of my current nickname, and it is the one I'm using right now for about everything on the internet, including mature websites (jk). But the FB thingy is in French, and I don't want to translate it right now. I'm getting lazy.

To sum up, random ideas at some point, then some improvements were added, and i finally managed to find a nick pretty innovative AND not already used by somebody else (really, I hate those nicks where people just put numbers and stuff to be able to use them, it just sounds too easy and narrow-minded, no offense).

At least Ad' used a funnier way to use RayFag' by putting 1234 in its reverse way (9876). RayFan1234 sounds terrible.

I used to play another game (which goes by the name of Trackmania Nations) a lot. My username there was:

Mega
Annoying
Zero
Talented
Extreme
Racer

... or in short: Mazter. Time passed by, and eventually people started calling me just Maz. I found it to be a pretty nice username, so I used it for this forum as well.

So that gives as a Master and a Mazter?

Hi, I lurked on Rayman PC for about 4 months and finally decided to man up to post something. Anyway, my user name TheCheesyDream was chosen because it was late at night and I was trying to be funny but came up with a retarded name that I will regret for my stay at the PC. :p

You can ask an admin to change it if you feel really strongly about it though!
