I know, but that music is very, very, very hard to rip! Maybe you can try doing that instead? :hinhinhin:

Let's just write a program that lets us rip it extremely easily :boon:

Seriously though, is it harder to rip than the Revolution soundtrack was?

Yes. I've got the sounds, but I don't know how to rip the data that plays the music at all. And if I would know how to do that, how would I PLAY it? -_-

It seems like ASM magic is needed.

Anyway, if they are "MIDI like thingies", isn't the simplest way to rip them recording playing with emulator?

In the game, these tracks are always heard at the same as other music and/or sound effects. So no.

Yes, actually. You can turn CDDA music off, which means you would only hear the tracks and not the music I've already ripped. The sound effects would stay though ( but maybe you could turn them off as well? ).

1. Dump iso, and replace mp3 or whatever tracks with silence.
2. Set SOUND to 0. Set MUSIC to MAX.
?

No.

1: Turn off CDDA sound in plugin config (the Mooby thing)
2: Turn off Sound, turn up Music
3: Record
4: Upload to RayTunes

Yeah, the only thing I have to do is find the time and will to configure ePSXe on my new computer and play Rayman 1 again without the music. Problem is, I hate playing Rayman without music. -_-

Turning CDDA off is almost equal to erasing tracks, with two main differences:
1) You save diskspace (if you were using image anyway).
2) Not every PSX emu uses sound plug-ins, and so can be unable for turning it off.

Steps 3) and 4) are self-understandable, aren't they?

1) Yeah. And you destroy your ISO, too. And how exactly can you delete files from an ISO, anyway?
2)But ePSXe does, and nobody uses any other emulator, since it's both free and the best.
3) and 4) Yes. Yes they are.

2) What about PCSX?
