Rayman Designer Addons

So here is the place for "new" Rayman Designer Stuff like new graphic-sets (PCX Files) etc.
Before you overwrite a file you should make a backup of the original one (but that's only necessary if you don't use a addon-pcx).

A big Thanks goes to Drolpiraat, who ripped the stuff from the PS-Raymangames, which i put in the pcx files. There is also another way to get this stuff: Make screenshots and get the interesting things rid of the background. But often this way is really annoying and the quality of the things isn't so great. The quality of the ripped stuff is much better and it's easier for me, to import that in the pcx files ;)

The first post will be updated from time to time (if there is any interrest)

Rayman2-Tiles (from the unreleased 2d Rayman 2)

Download: http://willhostforfood.com/?Action=down ... leid=29887

Notes:
It doesn't look as good as the original tiles because i had to change the palette (or it wouldn't work with the mapper) but i think it still looks good. But there are some more "problems":

1. Some tiles have black edges, so it would look bad in front of a (Rayman 1) Background. So i made a version of the pcx where the clean-tiles are also black (jun.pcx) and a normal version (jun2.pcx). I think a black background is better than nothing ;)
If you want to use the jun2.pcx you must rename it to jun.pcx. The other file you should rename in jun2.pcx or whatever.

2. It's not very easy to build plattforms (Tip: Use the zoom function). So we havn't a (good) template-map.....NOW! When you have build good platforms, please upload your map. Than i will mape a templatemap for us all :)

Well this all isn't great but it can give us a litte bit of the old R2 feeling. And some time later we could build lmaps with blocks from R2 and events from R1 :D Also a rayman 1.5 ^^

It would be awesome if we could add things from the Rayman Junior games in Rayman Designer :D I'll sure work on it :)

It is possible. Some people alredy did that: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/Tehrune ... c.php?t=92
(But there are only pcx files, no level or templates! So you havn't full acceess at the start)

But some stuff has really low graphic quality, so it would be cool if the psx-learing center stuff could be ripped etc. Than we have good quality graphics :)
(And I don't like the letters and the mario stuff^^)

MasterHero, about the black edges... Are you sure you didn't use the jpg version of the tiles? Because the png version is much better, and doesn't give you any black edges...

And I'll try to rip some things from Rayman Brain Games.

Yeah i used the png version, but my graphic programm (photoshop) shows me the black edges insted of the transparency. And if i want to make the black transparent, ALL black pixels got transparent. That looks very bad, cause some tiles need black pixels (like the skull). I also could delete the black pixels by hand....but that takes to much time.

I understand nothing. You can open the pcx files with every good picture-viewer but that's not necessary for the mapper.

Neither MS Paint nor Paint.net were able to open them. I had to download a program called XnView, and it works fine :D Unfortunately, all special elements from Rayman Junior aren't here.
