But the Russian flag is boring! Unlike the English one, which is well thought through. Each colour and stripe represents a country in the UK.

The English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh flags are combined to make the Union Jack. I don't know about the love and honour stuff you mentioned though.

The British flag is shit really, and the reason it's on our flag is because the British put it there. Blue, Red and White are on too many flags in my opinion, anyone with those colours should get some new ones, including us. Reall, the Australian flag should be green and gold like our sporting colours, and not have the bloody union jack on it.
