If he rebuilds it, then we actually can send them the YouTube link. With description, captions and comments all insulting Ubisoft/Stupidsoft/Upissoff.

A god? That'd be nice. XD

Really, I don't think I will be able to do this. And even if I can finally rebuild the BF file, I seriously doubt that the different models and textures will still be there.

Some things will be there though. Have you noticed that in "Bunnies have natural rhythm", they actually use a lot of things from the prototype? Look at the videos:
- Bunnies have natural rhythm
- The Prototype Gameplay Trailer
1. Look at the weapons the bunnies are carrying: they're like the weapons we saw in the prototype screenshots!
2. Compare Rayman's pose in the prototype trailer at 1:10 and at 1:33 ( between his 2 attacks ) to his idle animation in RRR. Exactly, they're the same.
3. The move Rayman uses to beat the rabbids in "Bunnies have natural rhythm" is exactly the same as the move he does at 1:27 in the prototype trailer.
4. Look at the dance he does at the end of the prototype trailer. It's the same as the dance you get to see when you win a minigame in RRR!
Conclusion? I think Rayman's model is the same, and so are his animations, and his behavior from the R4 prototype ( probably with jumping helicopter, fist throwing, etc. ) must still be in the game.

Also, Grue Pee Soft.

If you get the opportunity, you should check the PS2 and Xbox 360 versions of RRR1, to see if there are other proto things in them.

Grue?

And I think they're all the same, produced in... some UbiSoft development program.

You're really observant. Rayman's poses from this minigame are the same in the prototype.

@spiral: Probably, but the PC version is the best version to hack now. :)

Also, I've thought about something... while waiting for an answer from the creator of the BF extractor, what if we used Cheat Engine to hack Rayman's position in that minigame, then see what the animation does when he is in the water / falls down?
Because he never gets to fall in the game, but I really think that his old animations are still there.
I'll try that as soon as I have time to get there. :D
EDIT -> I tried to do that in the prison cell, but I didn't get it to work. I'll ask CheatCat ( who is very good at finding addresses in Cheat Engine ) to help.
EDIT 2 -> Of course, there's an even more obvious thing that didn't disappear in RRR: the animal riding system. :P
Bats and warthogs are in RRR. You can probably replace the bat with an eagle somehow. :)

What, they dont deserve the names. Come on, they gave us Rayman 4. They just made it so only the most dedicated and deserving of fans could play it  .

Remember, I don't think I'll be able to rebuild the prototype... ;)
But if I manage to rebuild it, well, they still hid it for us FOR 3 YEARS, and if I hadn't found it, it would never have been discovered.

Anyway, I posted a new topic on a Game Archive Research forum, asking some help with the *.bin files located inside the *.bf file. The *.bin files seem to contain sound effects ( while ALL SOUND EFFECTS from Rayman Raving Rabbids are already OUTSIDE the *.bin files ), textures ( that's pretty normal ), text ( pretty normal too ), and models. They contain all the data that the game loads, and the *.wol files tell the game which data from the *.bin files to load.

EDIT -> I wonder... does Rayman fish somewhere in RRR?

WHICH move? He has... 7 moves in this game!

[], O, [][][].../OOO..., /\, /\/\/\..., X, XXX...

Oh? I didn't notice that! Ooooh, they're ALL from the prototype! I took some screenies to prove that today.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh91 ... /RRR-1.png
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh91 ... /RRR-2.png
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh91 ... /RRR-3.png
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh91 ... /RRR-4.png
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh91 ... /RRR-5.png
Most of them can be seen in the prototype trailer. :)
However, the animations are so badly coded ( for example, the animation from Rayman returning to his normal pose is before the animation of one of the moves, while it should be after that animation ) that it's quite hard to notice between all the garbage in RRR.

Oh god this. This was one of the most broken games of the whole game; there was one time when I was trying to get the high score and by the time I finished I felt like dropping off and dying. :<

Lazy programmers. :x
They probably completely reprogrammed Rayman for this game to make sure they didn't use the old Rayman that had the behaviour from the prototype ( probably running properly, jumping, using the helicopter, etc. ).

But yeah, anyway, I'm still waiting for an answer, and I'll probably have to wait a long time.

I was just kiddin'

and the entirety of the warthog racing is far more broken than the Natural rhythm minigame ever was. I didnt even have problems with it and got the high score on the first one just fine until people brought up how to break it. However even then, I can still preform competently in the game unlike those warthog races which are so uncontrollable I have no idea how I beat them all the first time around.

The warthog racing is still pretty good, actually. The only problems there were the physics and the invisible walls. XD
Still, my favourite minigame is the bats one. And surprise surprise, that uses the same system as the eagle flying from the R4 prototype. Same controls too. :)

Bats and warthogs are in RRR. You can probably replace the bat with an eagle somehow. :)
I still not get it. It's very hard to change the position in games, I don't really know why..
I should begin with something easier like change the amount of ammo you have in FPS game or something. Maybe there is a way to make Rayman flying around on the bat in his cell! :D

Actually, making Rayman fly around on the bat isn't a half bad idea... perhaps you'd be able to see outside the prison cell by flying higher than Rayman can actually go.

Here's some news! I'm a step further already! I can now edit the data inside the BF files and THE GAME DOESN'T DETECT THAT IT'S EDITED, which is... fantastic!
I couldn't do that before. Now, I'm going to try and replace one of the minigame files with a prototype file... ^^

EDIT -> Urgh... It seems that the *.wol files do... NOTHING. -__-
I replaced all *.wol files from one of the minigames with the same War of the Worlds *.wol file, and still, the minigame runs like it is supposed to run. -_-
