I knew about all the secrets there, I just didn't know how all the top scorers comboed there or in HH. I'm still at FC with this new save file so have some time to practice.

Well I gave up on those matuvus in FC. Didn't have enough patience for that today so I went ahead and began on SBTC, again.

Probably need to combo that green gem in order to improve my 94k score, but maybe I get lucky in the first two phases and don't have to do that.

I decided to feck my other save files for now and work on the save file that I'm doing my actual practice on (if that even makes sense, most of my other save files are for pure fun). I still remember what my old scores are from my other posts so I'm going to start from the beginning again.

Edit: Hmmm...I wonder where I can find this strange rocket to bottom glitch useful? I know of at least one place since it's happened so many times to me there!

Well I guess I'll be working hard tomorrow on Xbox now to try get better scores

I'll have to probably start on SBTC or BOM. The 2 scores on those are from when I was awful at the game

Like 24k and 30k and I still have 561k with those terrible scores

I think I'll stick with PC for my final score, though I won't post my scores there for awhile since I still need practice. And I now have 20+ save files now to work on for practice and play!

I don't mind too much but I find Xbox handier for me so I can still use my PC at the same time. I know it's a lower resolution too but something about playing the Xbox feels so nostalgic to me too and the fact that I used customization to get the game in the aspect ratio I wanted

Same for me with the PC, it's nostalgia for me when I first played Rayman 3 as a kid, so it only fits me that i use the PC version as the version I score with.

I'm hoping i can improve my score in FC this time!

I'll definitely have tons of spare time on Thursday and Friday as well, so worst case scenario, I'll just do another one. My main goal is to find launches in two somewhat specific places, and should I succeed in that, there's still enough workaround for my combo plans in itself. So there's plenty to do.

And if everything goes downhill horribly, I still got HH1+2.

BTW, I wanted to ask you that for ages now: have you recorded your successful attempt of the final combo in CF3? Just curious, since I'm massively behind in that level by now.

Tuesday till Thursday should be fine. As for Friday I'm not sure whether I'll be available at that time. However, as always, in the worst case I'll simply watch it a bit delayed.


Regarding the low framerate in my recordings, I figured out that for some reason the screen recording mode in Bandicam doesn't work properly anymore. The problem is that I can't use the game recording mode, since for some reason Bandicam doesn't recognize R3 as a game. I noticed that it's due to the "Better Rayman 3" patch. Does anyone know how to solve the issue, or how to adjust a 1920x1080 resolution without the patch?

My game is running in proper widescreen without patches, even though it's "just" 1280x720, but that way Bandicam has no issues recording my game at 72 FPS native.

I want to try figure the same thing out. I use OBS for it and can record at 60fps, but the problem is that crashes the game if I exit then reenter it. I noticed it doesn't say Playing Rayman 3 on anything either like Discord for example. I haven't tried it windowed but I'd prefer to use fullscreen.

I know I'm not that great at it but I still like to have the option to record in case I figure out something etc.

Without patches my game keeps going 36fps.

The problem is that when I try to play in widescreen without the patch, then the game looks very stretched as you can see in the picture below. It could be that I've changed some settings or the ubi.ini some time ago, which might have caused the bug. However, when I reinstalled the game the same thing happened.
I still have a few ideas left, but I wanted to ask anyways, just in case someone had the same problem.

Edit: How did you actually adjust 1280x720? I just checked the R3_Setup_DX8.exe, but I didn't see such an option. Did you change the ubi.ini file? At least that's what I did, and this caused the bug afaik.

The DX8-Setup offered me that option natively, I was very surprised as well. Tomorrow during the stream I could try to reinstall Rayman 3 so that you can check whether I do something different compared to you, because right now I don't know what could cause that.

Oh and I also found a way to reach 120.769 in TOTL. Gotta do some calculations because you give up a bunch of points from the Hoodflyers, but we'll see. Will show that on stream as well.
