How is my score though? I would submit it to HoF and check myself but I'm so fucking angry at my dad right now. That was my fucking chocolate bar he scoffed down! OK I came up with a fix for Bandicam here after experimenting. Install Better Rayman 3 then set it to 1080p (or whatever your monitors native resolution is) and use this

Rayman 3 Bandicam Fix

Just extract the files to your Rayman 3 install directory overwriting the other files. Let me know how that works out for you

If it doesn't work for you, just let me know what the problem is. The DXWrapper.ini is set to Fullscreen = 1 so if you want to use windowed mode just set that to 0.

It's d3d8 that was causing the problem as expected, this is another DXWrapper version of it that is set to use RibSharks BetterRayman3.dll still but also uses d3d8 to d3d9 and Bandicam detects it

EDIT: being the eejit I am I had forgotten a couple of dll's. I've added them to the zip file now. This also makes the game get picked up as DX9.

EDIT 2: I can confirm it 100% works and records at 60fps for me (I set Bandicam to record at 60fps as a test) and since it shows as DX9 now, peoples GPU software might actually have an effect on the game. Usually it just ignores you. I also feel like it's not as sluggish between exiting and entering the game so maybe this also works better for Windows 10.

I have to remind myself to test this out once I get my laptop back from the shop since this laptop is the one I plan to use to record eventually. I already have an idea about what I'm going to use for it.

Alright, I’ll keep this in mind
I haven’t worked on my save file in awhile but since my video walkthrough is over I could use a refresher from all the testing on Rayman 2(N64) I was doing last night, and it gives me some good practice too.

Remember if you use Intel HD, depending on your exact model you might need to turn off vertex processing or TnL=0 I think was the other way.

That's true, it all depends on the model. Though considering my computer is newer than the old ones I had, the TnL=0 fix to Ubi.ini will work better. I will have to try it when my laptop gets back.

In the mean time I've started again on the 3rd save file. I feel like after that 20th save file I'll be confident enough in my execution of the combos I've found and make that glitchless walkthrough video on another version (which I'll reveal later ).

I think for the GC version I'll make just a normal walkthrough kinda like Haruka's, since my passion for this hobby of making guides/walkthrough videos is growing.

I haven't played in a while, I'm just waiting on that new Xbox to get here during the week and then I'll work on it. I still feel like I could get a much better score again on LOTLD and maybe CF but for now I think those levels I keep mentioning need to be sorted first as they're bringing my total score down really far.

I really should get back to this and replay the levels with the terrible scores. I have 571k at the moment while only having 30k scores on BOM and SBTC and as I said, the last time I bothered to play these levels on Xbox I sucked which is why those levels scores are so low

I had practiced a lot on PC before going back to Xbox then I only focused on CF, LOTLD and DOTK so far and managed to break 100k on them. Still 571k isn't extremely bad considering a lot of levels still have low scores apart from those.

@Steo which one you choose to do next is up to you but personally I’d recommend TSBTC first since there aren’t as many phases or annoying luck factors involved with the exception of the slopes. But that’s just me

That’s not bad at all. When you finish the game and are lpoking to improve scores, I highly would recommend CF and TLOTLD first.

I have 106819 on DOTK, but that was honestly hard to get the green gems in combo. On TOTL I only have 62,538 so that really needs to be improved too. I focused far too much on the same 3 levels and I really desperately need to replay SBTC since I had just rushed through it when I played this version as I just wanted a completed save before trying to get scores.

Also it's actually 579k I have and it's the Xbox version. All of the scores are:

I played this ga me since over 5 years now

i of course beat and 100% it

and i dont think of improofing my scores
i just play for fun and get as many points as i want

Bump, OK I suck big time on SBTC. I only have a score of like 45k and I'm having trouble with that level. I'm guessing after practicing that I can improve at it but there's so many complicated combos

Phew it's been a while since I looked back at these. Now aside from TLS, I think everything else can be improved upon (TLS now mainly relies on that damn crazy shoe since I've tried almost all the combos on there now.) Yes, even FC can be improved, and I'm saying this because of a combo I learned and the fact that every playthrough I've done of this level I failed to realize that there was a matuvu right behind me after the first climb in part 4.
