Rayman sketches/WIP's

Yeah, yeah. I know some of my friends here told me to do this a while ago. So I thought, why not?
Many people know that I absolutely HATE drawing Rayman. Ya wanna know why? Because I can't draw him. Yup, I admit it...
But I guess this is a once-in-a-while thing. I'll spend a few moments drawing him again... We all have to remember where our art roots come from.
Rules:
1: I do not take requests. I draw what I want, when I want. Don't you go around begging me either. And don't even TRY to rush me! Got it?
2: A bit of nitpicking is allowed, but don't do it for the sketches! I fix things up once I color them! These are WIP's, AKA rough drafts!
3: Do not copy without permission
4: Blah-blah-blah-blah-blah... *on and on*

Yap, yap, I KNOW I got a lot of flaws here. This is the first time in how long I drew him again? Besides, I spent around ten minutes doing it. XD I congratulate anyone who knows what book he's reading. Little guy enjoys all the amusement he can get.
I'll fix the feet, head, hands, etc. once I work on the final draft. Now, I brace myself for people who'll go all 'WTF?!' at me.

It looks pretty good. He looks like he's about 5 years old. :P

His nose isn't drawn correct. But for the rest it looks good ^^

Of course it isn't! That's exactly why it's a rough draft. If not, you're talking about the angle itself. It looks that way because he's looking down.

This is exactly why I hate drawing Rayman more than anything. XD

You'd certainly to better than me, Aptir  The nose is indeed the hardest part to draw, and this is the main reason I can't stand drawing Rayman. I usually take on easier characters such as Hoodblasters. ^^

B-but... Five-year-olds don't like reading! D=
Anyways, thanks everyone for your support/opinions. Here's the completed piece.

I exaggerrated on the shading simply because it brings out the colors.

Is he planning to battle Murfy? Or his he reading about the Murphies in Rayman 2? :P
Anyway, if I were to nitpick, I'd say his feet are a tad small, but that's nothing really.

Oh, last thing, i should remove the lines on his fingers, the hands of Raymanian creatures look better smooth

Thanks. Well, for a first attempt in a while, this is fine for me. But it still doesn't mean I like drawing Rayman. I used to, actually. In fact, he was the only thing I drew. But after awhile... I just grew 'meh' towards it. We change over time. I may sketch something out again soon. Depends on my mood. (But yes. I admit there are plenty of flaws even I don't like to admit on this one. The nose, the hair, the eyes, the anatomy; er, whatever ya call it, the hands, the feet... Well, basically everything. o_0)

But personally, I prefer to draw animal-like creatures. Call me a Pokenerd or whatever, I despise to draw anything humanoid. They're just so... BORING! XD However, I'm not so sure WHAT Rayman leans more towards.

It means you shouldn't take the picture and use it without asking the owner first. :|

Yes, but I do see Dango's point. In 'don't steal without permission', the 'without permission' part is completely redundant.

Yeah. It should be "do not copy without permission"

What is this, some kind of nitpick festival or what?! XD Just kidding. Thanks for catching that.
