How's the weather?

It's been pretty hot, but it rained like feck earlier and I heard some thunder.

HOT. And that's after it down poured a few days ago...

We had a frost outta nowhere awhile back that nearly killed all our trees. We have to cut one down cause it didn't quite make it and caught a tree disease.

We did some canoeing today and then went to a small festival, and thankfully the weather was pretty good!

That's nice to hear though. We did have heat waves for a long time too before the weather became crappy again, but it still doesn't mean it's cold.

It is "summer" here in the netherlands, but it doesn't get hotter than 25°c and it rains a lot of days. Normally it can get up to 40°c for some days, but I don't think that will happen this year.

Apparently today it's so hot that the weather control center had to issue a special alert that the weather would be at a record high of 100-106 degrees Fahrenheig today and towards the end of the week. Great time for me to stay indoors!

I think it's been like 104-107 outside for a good number of days. Maybe I should do a rain dance or something.

That reminds me of a story from about a decade ago where someone had vandalized a hill considered magical by some neopagans, and they said they'd be "doing some rain magic" to get it washed off!
