Re: Countries you've been to
Ooooouch.
I quite like ferries, from the one experience I've had with one when I went to the Isle of Wight. The food was hella expensive but man the weather was awesome [if a bit too bright].
It's nice there, while not at all for thrillseekers unless you count carry cars over the Needles, but it's peaceful there. I'd like to go again.

I love travelling. I even enjoy the flight/car/buss-trip. : > Especially buss-trips with the band, those are always so cozy. Just need to be careful about choosing your seat so that you don´t end up in the middle of a bunch of twirlers.
So far I´ve been to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Egypt, Greece and Spain. I´m not very fond of going to those typical tourist-traps to bask aimlessly in the sun though, so can´t say I enjoyed Greece and Spain that much... Egypt was also quite a lot like that, but at least we went to see the pyramids (even went inside one! That was so awesome), and camel-riding in the Sahara-desert and stuff.
Some time this summer or something I´m going to Finland with the concert-band I play in. I´m really looking forward to it.
Other than that I´d like to go to England, Ireland, France, USA and lots of other places, really, some time. Saving up money and going with Interrail one summer would have been exciting. : >
I´ve never taken a train anywhere though. : < I want to do that some day.

It was awesome at Gran Canaria. Especially the camel riding.

Once I ran onto a train, ran back out again to check if it was the right one, then a man shut the door and wouldn't let me on!
As the train went off the man sorta pressed his face against the window, laughing. It was weird.

I wouldn't like hot spots like Spain either, I like, you know, doing stuff. Like going up tall towers and watching the view [as I done in Blackpool :>].
If you guys are ever in England, do check out Blackpool, it's got like the greatest rollercoasters the country has to offer.

Re: Countries you've been to
We didn't do donkey riding there, in fact the beach was being reconstructed [anti-tidal wave structure or something] when I went there. I did however go on a horse cart one time when I was in Great Yarmouth, but I don't really like riding horses etc anyway.

Re: Countries you've been to
I find horse riding really scary, I've been on one before and I thought I was gonna fall off and get crushed by the horse. Sounds silly because that's only so rare but still.

I went for a laugh with my brother a few months ago. It was funny as we had people guiding the horses for us, and there were like, 7 years olds who could do jumps and stuff.

Re: Countries you've been to
I've been to the United States...That's my story.
Re: Countries you've been to
Well, apparently not many Americans travel outside the US. How many states have you been to?

Re: Countries you've been to
Not that many (at least I have been out-of-state though, hehe), though I'm really not the kind of guy who likes travel a whole lot. I'm the kind who could look at a photograph and be satisfied, which is why I usually don't head out-of-state all too often.
Re: Countries you've been to
I live in Utah, USA, but I have been to Canada (to see Pyra, mostly), the UK, Spain, Germany, and Ireland. For most of them though, I was too young to remember (I was born in West Germany), so I hope to go back and take a tour around Europe sometime. Mostly, I just want to see all the castles that my parents went to see.
Personally, I think it's kind of understandable why many Americans don't make it out of the country. After all, it does take forever to get anywhere. :\ Plus when it comes to the drive to New Mexico, Arizona, or Nevada from where I'm standing, it's the most boring trip ever. You clap and cheer when you see a tree.
I wouldn't mind going back to Vermont though, it has a nice cool climate...

I've also been very close to Africa. It was the very south of Spain we visited, we could just about see Africa.
