In The Scotsman newspaper, it states that girls, as young as five years old, are wearing makeup, sluty clothing, high heels, and getting boyfriends. And even in extreme cases, these clothes are even being displayed in toddler's clothing shops. And what is to blame? The Bratz merchandise, of course.

I had a girlfriend back in kindergarden. She wasn't dressed like that though.

Children are growing up too quickly I see girls dressing like neds and shopping in the highstreet at the age where I was building dens and climbing trees. It just doesn't seem right.

Yeah, it can't be good for them. There are sick old men out there.

When I was 5 I kept running in roads and grabbed on to my Ariel doll while I was being sent to the naughty corner at school.

I guess sex ed will be teached at schools at the age of five in Scotland now, right. Parents of these children will be saying stuff like "If our kids are going to do naughty things at birthday parties, there isn't anyway we'll stop them. Kids will be kids, so we better supply condoms for them anyways, just to be on the safe side."

I actually see tendencies like this in my little sisters. I always said those Bratz-dolls were a bad concept. xD;

I have to disgracefully admit that I actually like the art style in Bratz. Not their HIDEOUS anatomy, but the techniques used for lineart and stuff. But that doesn't hide the fact that they are indeed a bad influence, not to mention that some of their fashion designs take the piss half the time [like the punk ones OMG how dare they use the Union Jack]. Oh and the TV series is horrible too, it's all 3D and just aaaaa.

The sad truth is, I have to price Bratz merchandise that come in my charity shop as new goods all the time. :C

Oh gawd my little sister has this movie called Bratz: Genie Magic or whatever, and she insisted to watch it sitting in my lap in my bed early in the morning. She's as obstinate as me so I figured refusing was pointless because we'd be spending all day discussing that, then. x_x

BUT UGH BRATZ

It's indeed a bad influence. It's normal that times change. But Bratz has really pushed it in the wrong direction. It gives little girls thoughts like "i'm to fat weeeeeh" and "i'll just get it from my looks, i'm blowing school"

I heard about some commtion between bratz and barbie when I was in Switzerland, I don't know what it was about though.

I saw the commercials for those movies. You're right, awful.

Oh man I had to sell Barbie Fairytopia dolls in my shop as well. They sell like really fast thank god, but these dolls were so damn skinny.

One of my workmates, who's 80, found a bratz in donations and she said that the doll looked like she was on drugs. :p
