Rayman Pirate-Community

Whenever I enter a revisit any level now, all I get for sound is background ambience, and whatever 'special music: eg. pirates attacking music' but absolutely no actual level music. I've reset the playstation, left levels and gone back, played with the music slider, started a new game and nothing works. The disk is not scratched at all, and is in fine condition.
The whole thing is killing me, a game without music is an awful experience, especially one a great as Rayman.
Anyway, any tips on how to fix it would be vastly appreciated.

Yeah, indeed, you don't get any music in a revisit, and that's quite a shame, because Rayman 2's music is absolutely fantastic. You'll notice that when you start a new game, you will get music.

Well, if you want to listen to Rayman music you can listen to the music with RayTunes ^^

Ubisoft got rid of the music once you complete a level once. I know! It's terrible gameplay experience indead without the music. WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE, STUPID, RIDICULUS EDIT TO MAKE REVOLUTION!

Although it replaces the music with ambience, so in a sense it doubles the audio content of the game. The ambience was reused for R3.

Yeah, some Revolution music sounded a bit like R3 music.

That's ridiculous!
Oh well, at least I know it's not just me.
My God what an awful gameplay choice - any cheats or hacks to get it back?

I have ten saves from different points in Revolution. So I always hear music...

I have many saves for each level and boss stage. Every time i play on Revolution these days, the one save i would do is the one i did on the stage you fight Grolem!

I like the way you only need one save in Rayman 3.
