I know I created a thread before about this, but nobody awnsered and its almost at page 2 now :(

For ppl who didnt read my first topic: here it is:
HI there!

I have a problem with Rayman 3 and my joystick. The Problem: it doesen't work. I can't adjust the controls to joystick controls. It just doesen' t work.

But if I go to the DirectX settings (where you can adjust the resolution of the game), I spotted an extra menu called "camera movement axis" with a strange blue line.

I have 5 buttons in total on my joystick (not counting the movement axis), a fire button, 2 buttons on front of it, and two little buttons with + on the right button and a - on the left button. When I press the + button, a part of the blue line dissappears. When I pressed it four times, the line is gone, but it doesen't solve my problem. It's the same on the Rayman 3 BETA Demo, only differnce is that you can't adjust the controls.

Here are a few photo's of my joystick so you can see it:

Rayman 2

Has the same problem, doesen't work

Rayman 1

Works perfectly, no need to explain anything ;)

So, is htere anyone who can help me?

Thanks :)
So, any suggestions? I already tried Xpadder, doesen't work either :(

BUT, if I play both the Rayman 3 BETA Demo and the normal demo on Linux (using Wine, a program that lets you run windows programs on linux), the joystick works!!! If I play the beta's under windows, the joystick doesen't work. So it's either windows or Rayman 3.

Any suggestions?

Thanx

So it works under Linux ? The Rayman 3 Beta demo and Rayman 3. Rayman 2 doesn't run yet in Wine.

Do you have drivers for your joystick ? Install them and the problem should be solved.

I don't have drivers for the joystick. And Rayman 2 and 3 are the only games that I can't play with my joystick. The rest of my games work perfectly with my joystick

About wine and Rayman 3: the beta demo and the normal demo work. The actual release of Rayman 3 (the one that's being sold) doesen;t work because it requires the cd to install it.

Rayman 2 installs, but doesen't start :(

Install version Wine 1.1.0. Then you're up to date. Oh, and maybe try recalibrating your joystick.
The actual release of Rayman 3 (the one that's being sold) doesen;t work because it requires the cd to install it.
How do you mean ? I can install it perfectly well using the DVD-Rom

Yes, mee too, under Windows. If I try to install it under Linux using wine, the installation asks for a cd after a few mins, and I can't eject the cd-rom drive because its mounted and used by wine (I get an error if I try to open it). :(

Bug report 8)

Maybe you can get something out of your joypad in Wine-configuration.
