I think it would certainly attract more attention (and awareness I reckon). Hunch is thinking of adding it to the portal, by the way.

The portal is my homepage (it's been that since I joined PC), and that makes me really happy to see that will be used more than just RSS feed. Maybe we could edit the news more too.
