Rayman Pirate-Community

Does anyone else think Globox is just plain annoying in Rayman 3? He constantly talks crap and it just isn't funny. His voice is so freakin irritating that I wish he had kept his Rayman 2 personality.
Not the case for Murfy though, I think his change was a good thing. I hate that whispering sound he makes in Rayman 2.

I thought Globox was funny sometimes but was constantly in the way, but I found Murphy more annoying, although his jokes were better. :/

No, i don't think he's annoying. Altough i sometimes didn't get the humour

I got fed up with him floating away.

I found some things he said funny, but mostly I'd agree with the majority of you. He just seemed to get in the way too; an example being part 2 CF the last combo. I found Murfy annoying too, especially after hearing his lengthy speech at the beginning hundreds and hundreds of times. Green little bugger.

Yeah, that was very annoying, and certeainly in FC Part 1. The second combo is hell.

Second combo? You mean the one involving trampolines? If so, I totally agree. It's one of my least favourite combos of the entire game. And the cherry on the trifle is added listening to Murfy hundreds of times. I timed it once and the cinematic lasted nearly three minutes.

Yep, i meant that one. If you ask me there are to much cutscenes in FC. That's really annoying.

That's one of my least favourite parts in the whole game. I hate Murfy's speech, I despise the trampoline combo, I don't like the turtles and I can't stand the dwarf-combo.

About Globox: I don't care that much about him. He neither amuses nor annoys me, he is just there and that's it.

I prefered it when his eyes floated. :3

He spoke more too, and didn't keep on moaning about his wife and kids.

Yeah, it's weird that Uglette or the Baby Globoxes didn't get a mention...

How did you find stacking the turtles up to get to the previous room? I've heard MandM and DTUCC said they really hated this, but personally, I found it straightforward. Most of the time the jump worked on either the first, second or third try for me.

It was the same for me as the trick of keeping Razoff on the wrecking ball. Before DTUCC and MandM made videos of those I never managed them because I didn't fully understand where to lure Razoff/where to put the turtles. But with the help of the videos it wasn't that hard. The dwarf-combo was the bigger problem for me. I think I'll be asking for a video of that one next time I play TFC.

But in Rayman 2 he was a cute and jolly creature.

I like him in R3. When I first played the game I found Globox hilarious.

I wish there was a sound test that had all the sounds from the game, including voice acting. Then I could clearly hear all of the things Globox said.

Yeah, taht was a problem. Often when he flew off you couldn't hear a thing he said.
